Golf star Paige Spiranac has been accused of cheating.
The final round of The Internet Invitational, the $1 million golf tournament held by Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports, aired on YouTube on Thursday. The team of Brad Dalke, Francis Ellis and Cody “Beef” Franke took down a trio led by Spiranac. However, during the final round, Spiranac was accused of cheating.

Spiranac, who played collegiately at the University of Arizona and San Diego State, was accused of intentionally stamping down some high grass around her team’s golf ball. The final round of The Internet Invitational was an alternate shot, 18-hole match. Spiranac was accused of cheating by intentionally improving her team’s lie.
Spiranac denied the accusations, saying that she didn’t know she couldn’t do that. Spiranac had previously told her competitors that it was “obvious” they’d never played competitive golf before. That comment quickly came back to bite her, as anyone who has played competitive golf would know that you can’t intentionally improve your lie in tall grass.

The golf influencer took a lot of heat for her reaction to the cheating accusations
“Paige Spiranac played D1 golf and went to Q School but she doesn’t know she can’t trample a bunch of high grass directly in front of the ball? She’s lucky this Big Mo dude stole the spotlight cheating his butt off too,” one fan wrote.
“Paige Spiranac getting caught cheating and being able to produce tears in under 5 seconds is the exact kind of crazy that I find hot,” one fan added.

Spiranac, meanwhile, has yet to address the cheating accusations on social media, as her last post on X came on Nov. 8.
