I don’t get it. I want to like it, but can’t. I’ve been saying this for years now, but somehow the crowd at WM 16 is far more annoying than fans cheering at any other sporting event. I’m not sure if it’s the people, the behavior, what they’re cheering for, or what really, but even for someone who usually has no problem with it, the culture at this hole is shockingly revolting. Maybe it’s just cause it’s golf and it feels weird, but I often find myself viscerally responding when watching.
