FRANKENMUTH, Mich. (WNEM) – A big time honor has been earned by The Fortress Golf Course in Frankenmuth.
Golfpass.com released their best 25 public courses in Michigan and The Fortress ranked number one.
This honor isn’t taken lightly as Michigan has the most public golf courses of any state in the country.
Golf pro Kyle Martin, who’s been at the Fortress for 11 years, says it’s a total team effort and is proud of his staff.
“Take a lot of pride in it,” Martin said. “It’s great because getting recognized as the number one golf course through Golf Pass means it’s through user reviews, that’s customer feedback, unsolicited so it really means a ton. We have so many different types of golfers that come out but the local market is really important to us because they’re the heartbeat of our town and so to have them on our golf course week in and week out playing in league or playing in events is really a testimony to the quality of the conditions that we have and the quality of customer service that we have.“
