I love his swing but because I love all unconventional looking swings that produce great results. He obviously had a great instructor who knew not to mess with a great thing by having him get more conventional with his setup (super strong grip, open stance, hands way ahead).

Good post OP. It’s great that he’s getting credit because currently all this sub wants to discuss is the idiot fans (which they are). Chris went out & shot a great number on Sunday, capped by going -2 on the 18th hole today under pressure.
It sucks that Hideki had to deal with the distractions but to be honest he lost that tournament when him & his caddy didn’t hit an iron off 18th tee in regulation. His woods were all over the place today & he almost threw the tournament away on 17 with that hooked 3W that nearly went into the water. Dottie Pepper even said it after he found the bunker on 18 “that’s the first bad drive he’s been penalized for all day”. So while the spectators were assholes, this tournament was more about Chris going out there & taking it from Hideki who was stumbling home.
