I loved the interview and I watch Patti's interviews regularly because I think that she gives great perspective on dating due to her knowledge, experience and intuitiveness but as an emotional and social intelligence coach and a psychologist I think that she needs to let Bonnie speak and not interrupt her so much because showing respect in this way is crucial. There should be a better balance in a conversation between the participants. Otherwise, the impression you leave is of an overcontrolling person who is focused only on expressing your expertise and not giving a chance to the other person to show their expertise. It can also show a character trait that might be very challenging for a partner in relationships and friendships. All good and healthy relations are built on mutual respect and that involves keeping a good balance between speaking and listening, having curiosity in what the other person has to say and having more patience to hear them.
