  1. You can get setup really well for like $1k with pro line stuff from a couple years ago. Much better than a Costco setup.

  2. When you're new to golf get a affordable set like you did. You're swing is going to improve the more you play so don't get anything fitted. Just drill good fundamentals like grip, alignment, and taking the club away correctly. Unlearning bad habits is more work. Welcome to the equivalent of Crack, Golf. Haha

  3. Use them and if one breaks replace it with a nicer club. If you don’t golf often enough for that to happen then you’re still at $500.

  4. Wait it's 14 clubs? And he said he THINKS it's 13? Y'all are doing allat for one golf club?

  5. With that bounce it would actually be better suited for a player with a steeper attack angel( also a beginner) but it would be super hard to open that face up as he demonstrates using a super high bounce wedge such as the one he’s hitting.

  6. You don’t need an age exception to get into golf, you just need to be obnoxious and a little mentality challenged to find it fun

  7. i'd pay 20 bucks for that shit but only as a gift to someone. golf most boring waste of time sport in entire world. who tf would spend over 500 for that waste of space.

  8. My set is about $1900 now that I think about it. And I got a full set of brand-new "used" Mizuno Hot Metals for $400 in the steal of the century. My putter and driver though were also about that much. Volkey wedges aren't cheap either.

  9. I mean honestly, you could go to a pawn shop and probably get better stuff. I just might not match.

  10. He swings too fast for the set. The set is fine. That driver head didn’t “fall off”, the shaft snapped. Could be somebody freaking out or could have been damaged on the rack or in shipping since it’s a warehouse.

  11. Sorry for the book here. Some good advice that was told to me when i was getting into it. Dont fill up the bag. Have the driver, 6-PW and putter (maybe add a 52 or 54 degree and POSSIBLY a 3 wood). Get good with those then start experimenting with new clubs. Just dont want to overwhelm yourself off the bat. More clubs dosent make you a better golfer. Also you want to feel for how the ball makes contact through your hands not just how it sounds to the ear. Different golf balls will get you different feelings. And "whippy" drivers (regular stiff) are great for beginners because you usually have a lower club head speed. The stiffer the shaft the harder you have to swing to get full advantage. Which will mess up a new golfer. The head does a lot of work but its amazing what happens when you start messing adound with different shafts. Long story short. Ask a different friend🫡

  12. A lot of the guys rating are low because his swing is busted. These are GREAT clubs for anyone looking to move on from a novice to an intermediate level player/handicap. That’s why these are so highly rated by the pros as a top upgrade set for beginners.
