Playing on the course while it’s frozen damages the grass, dormant ≠ dead. You should take a break, and give the course some time to rest. The course will be there in the Spring.

Mine is open 12 months a year. Played today, 43 degrees. Just a wonderful time. Greens are greasy fast because they are hard but still holding. No one in front of me for 18 holes. Just divine
