I challenged a HEAD PRO at HIS OWN course… (Ep. 2 – Carlisle GC)

Welcome back to the HeadPro series and we’re in Carlilele, the home of Eddie Stobal Logistics, the eighth tallest chimney in the world and apparently King Arthur’s round table. It’s also home to our brand manager David. But White Haven’s nowhere near Carl. In the Headpro Series, I travel around the country taking on head pros and today it’s Nikki Tibbitz. It’s 18 holes of match play with a,000 pounds on the line. So, we’ve already played the first match of this year’s series at Hezil Golf Club versus Tom Atinson where I gave him an absolute battering. Hold on. Wasn’t it quite close? Well, just want to say a massive thank you to Titus for supporting the series this year. They do amazing work with professionals in the UK and beyond, making sure they’re set up in the best possible way at their golf clubs. And also Nikki is going to have a wonderful surprise today because for this series Titus have agreed to support the junior sections of all the clubs that we’re playing at which is great news. So after a very serious warm-up and a quick look at the current series standing, I picked a random caddy from the assembled crowd to help guide me around this tricky course. So, um, part four, as I was saying, there’s a few trees being taken out, so you can definitely go a little bit more aggressive at this one now than you ever used to be able to. Carl Carl keeps tabs on the waiting list. I think there there’s a few on it. We do an academy membership as well. So, people new into golf um just wanting to try it out without committing to the joining fee and the um just to try it out. So, that’s a good option for people to get into golf as well. So, it works really well. As we say, the range here seems pretty I mean that is there is that the best range in here? Yeah, I think so. I mean not played a massive amount. No, I mean it’s about 300 yards long. Got chipping green and um like an astro surface to hit off and um indoor and teaching a little bit as well. Yeah. Why does it get a bit rough here in the winter? I mean I hear the weather up here is always north of England it comes it thing but yeah um so I’ve got my sort of teaching bay but we’re actually working on um getting we moved the shop last year. Um so um the old shop we’re going to move into a simulator golf simulator for ah nice some winter stuff and custom fittings and things like that. So oh there you go from the Carile area or even beyond. It’s like a Okay, I could do the infomercial.
