Golf grip made easy. So when I think of the golf grip, this is such an important part of the golf game because it’s the one thing that is touching the club and the club is the one thing that’s hitting the ball. So one, we want to make sure that we’re consistent with our grip. Okay. The most way I like to put it is I like this grip to be more located at the base and bottoms of your fingers. I always get concerned when I’m working with a student and you start to see a hole or a wear pad in the heel part of their glove. That’s telling me that the grip is too much in the palm. So when you hold the club more in the palm of your hand, you don’t have your the flexibility now in your golf swing as compared to your fingers where you can use your wrist a lot more during your golf swing. So for both hands, I like to see more in the base of our fingers. So, I’d like to tell our students when we wrap that bottom hand around the club, we’re just giving that left thumb a home to to stay in. Okay? And and just some simple checks that I like to do is I like to use these Vshapes that I make with my finger and my thumb. So, when I set this club down, I check to make sure that this Vshape is pointed to my right shoulder. And then when I put my bottom hand on, fold it over, that Vshape is also running to my shoulder. Okay. Again, there’s little variances depending on the golfer. Uh so that’s why we recommend getting lessons, getting it checked out to see what grip is best for you. Uh because if you watch the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, you watch the best players in the world, they all hold the club a little bit differently. Um so there’s not one right way and one wrong way. It’s what’s works best for you, the student. So come on in, get lessons, and then you’ll be able to check on your grip and see how it’s helping your golf game.
