Martians, we’re officially 5 days out from the Mr. Olympia and things are getting real.
This morning I woke up at a new prep-low of 236 lbs—the leanest and lightest I’ve been since Prague. The look is crispy, the skin is paper-thin, and now it’s just about digging a little deeper before the carb-up starts.
In today’s vlog, I take you through my daily routine, pre-workout meals, and a pump session. You’ll also see me link up with the crew, reflect on mindset heading into the biggest stage in bodybuilding, and even attempt a Lego run that didn’t exactly go as planned.

we still keep suffering. It’s worth it. Yes. What is up, Martians? We’re back. Hopefully you
guys tagged along with us yesterday and now we are five days out from the Mr. Olympia. So, woke up
this morning, another new low. We are down about a pound and a half. So, I was 236.0 this morning.
Um, that is definitely the lowest my weight has been this whole prep. Really the lowest my weight
has been since Prague, maybe. Um, yeah. So, had boss look at me. Super happy with the look.
Definitely a little more flat this morning than we were yesterday. Uh, but crispy, crispy, crispy,
and starting to really get that paper thin skin. So, excited to see what this looks like when we
finally get some food and stuff. But we sat down, we talked for a few, um, and we’re going to just
keep running these low days and keep pushing um, until it’s time to fill up and actually like
start the carb up. So today is Sunday. We’re going to do a little pump session this afternoon.
And besides that, honestly, today is filled with hopefully some Legos. Hopefully watching some
NFL football. Maybe the Cowboys will win, but right now they kind of suck, so I’m not
going to put my hopes too high for that. Um, but then also Brett gets in tonight, so he’ll come
over and see us. We’ll get to catch up with him. He gets in around 1:00 and then um probably come
to the gym, see us, all those type of things. Um and the rest of the day is just easy chilling. So,
my man behind the camera, Coupe, giving you guys actually movies instead of some silly vlogs like
everybody else has. Um we just appreciate you guys liking, subscribing, doing all that fun stuff. And
I will see you guys in a little bit. We’ll go over my pre-workout meal um and go through some of my
meals today. and then we’ll get to the gym, do our normal thing there, and then just kind of take you
guys along for the ride today. So, let’s do it. Oh, who’s this guy, bro? Completely different
guy than I Thanks, brother. You I got like a sneak peek. Ah, you cheater butt. Yeah,
you you know him. You also got one. Yeah, it’s only fair. It’s the Uno reverse card. That’s
only fair. But it looks [ __ ] amazing. So, just keep digging for a couple more days. So, so
see you don’t get flat at all. Today it’s kind of a little bit hardest I’ve ever been. Yeah,
but for me it’s like you could like give him three more zero days and it’s still like the black
generation. It will be I think after tomorrow will be pretty flat flat. This here I’ll show you this
morning. with just goon lighting this morning. No, don’t be putting that in the video. Peep that
out. It’s kind of funny. It’s like that’s some goon lighting steroid classic condition on
an open. But this is this is when it’s like what it looks like actually just on regular. So
nice. There’s something to drink here. So nice. But that’s the flattest. You’ve probably seen
me. Yeah. You can actually see that it’s flat, but not that’s like me. That’s how I I how I look
full. How do you feel though? Good. He car I get 700 carbs today like and then and we have a 3day
1,000 g of carb load in front of us. But somehow my body needs it. I don’t know. Maybe because
of the past 4 years of suffering. 100%. 100%. So it’s cool, you know, like it’s fun. Just
don’t have like a cat you need to look. Just create the best look you you want to achieve. You
know, the best bodybuilder you can be. Sometimes that’s also hard, you know. That’s why it’s
been a different for me to find this. True. I need to just chase being [ __ ] peeled out of
my mind. But it’s a good place to be. So yeah, I’m excited to see what it all goes together
for. I’m [ __ ] pumped that me and together, bro. We talked about it all three of us four years
ago, man. So, that’s crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. It’s just going to get better from here on. Good
[ __ ] man. But this gym is [ __ ] amazing. Yeah, I already did back yesterday. Otherwise, I should
have waited. I didn’t know what you did or what? I do a little shoulders and arms. Okay. No, I mean
I could do like push but I just or we decided do back here because it’s better and then tomorrow we
need Yeah. No, that’s perfect. Sounds like a plan. Martin Fitzwater in the house. You guys I don’t
he doesn’t need an introduction. But for this guy, you really can say it’s he’s gonna be because
people think like, “Yeah, we want to see you winning this.” And I’m like, “Chill, bro. Chill.”
But this guy is he’s about winning. So, we’re we’re here to do some business. Yeah. But how you
feel like mentally? Because for me, it’s weird. I like I’m so calm because it feels like 2021 first
Olympia for me in classic and then the years after when I placed I got like a little bit more
pressure. So that was kind of hard to handle in a good way. It was in a good way and in a bad way. I
feel like Pittsburgh I let the pressure build and be a part of it. This one dude I’m and you learn
from Pittsburgh. I’m so I’m so at peace right now, dude. I’ve been having so much fun just this
whole That’s the most important part because at the end of the day, you can’t change what happens
on shoulder, you know? That’s and and right now, dude, like I’m just I wake up excited to see what
I look like. Even though I feel like [ __ ] and I’m [ __ ] tired and like getting out of bed is
hard, I’m so excited to see what it looks like cuz I like dude, I’m really proud of what I like what
physique I did right now. I’m really proud. You did crazy improvements. I mean, there are pictures
going around the internet. They don’t give you justice clue. Not at all. For real. For real.
So, yeah. No, I’m I’m super excited for that, man. Like, that’s that’s the best part for me is
like one, everyone’s sleeping on me. Do I know I’m I’m bringing something that I’m I wouldn’t say
they’re not sleeping on you. A few are but but you know you know what I mean in the sense of like
they they actually don’t know what I’m bringing this time. They they know they’ve seen really good
me, but this is going to [ __ ] blow that [ __ ] out of Let’s go, baby. Thank you. Yes, of course,
man. Have a good session. Okay. Thank you. Yeah. Peak week is the only week that her split allows
for her to do upper body and it’s just to deplete her out more. Just the Brazilians wanted to
interview always. They are he is super nice and he was he was laughing in a positive way. When I
said who can win the Olympia and I said there are probably six guys and I started with Martin Samson
Derek Nick Hardy and nobody knows Andrew probably. Yeah. And it’s never been that competitive and
good. Yeah. The only time it was that competitive was it was that competitive for second and when he
when Ronnie was and and when when he said you’re placing I want didn’t want to be too aggressive
but I said Sansson Martin Hardin Nick and Derek it’s getting in the I like this one. We had this guy at Armbrush when
Brett and I lived in Denver and we always ran it like at the end. I never press very heavy,
so I hardly ever shoulder press anymore. But plus, I just do one little pump light.
Don’t get tight. So, I’m actually using this more to just stretch. So, you guys see I’m
really getting deep in the bottom there and really trying to stretch this front delt out
and that upper pec area out. Um, I’m actually even going to move this seat up in this next set
just so that I can get an even deeper stretch. You can tell I don’t do my
pressing cuz that’s heavy. Heat. Heat. I don’t think I could buy it. Y Heat. Heat. [Music] I love you. 10 minutes from the airport. Yeah,
it’s the first stop. What’s up, buddy? [Music] triceps. I already tell the biggest difference is
all low back and yeah worked up from his glutes in the low back. Yeah, that’s just where the water
completely. completely up. Sure. Filling up too. I’m thinking there’s not enough food yet. Just
think of what happens. It’s zero food. That’s a good point. I mean, the thing is the the best part
about this is like you’re going to take a lot of variables. I mean, the the hardest part with me
is going to be how much food we have to eat. You know what I mean? With him, it’s going to be it’s
going to be great cuz a lot less variables. You know what I mean? He’s going to respond so quickly
off just a little bump. Be perfect. He could step actually on stage like that. It wouldn’t be a
100% package, but it would still be right here. All right, Martians. So, that’s 5 days out.
Um, the Lego store trip was an epic fail. We got to the mall and realized that it is Sunday and
things close early still. Even though it’s Vegas, they close at 7:00. So, the mall is closed. So we
took a nice 40minute car ride instead. But back at the house now and we just do the regular
night things to finish off my daily routine. So we got Epson salt bath, watch a little TV,
probably put on the Sunday night football game and just chill and relax with the girls and kick
my feet up. Uh we’ll go see boss in the morning, take you guys along for the ride.
