Six tips for slow golfers. Tip number one, play ready golf. When it’s your turn to hit, hit the [ __ ] ball. Don’t take 10 practice swings. I promise you, if you took zero and just walked up and hit it, it would be a much better result. Guaranteed. Tip number two, be ready to hit before you have to hit. Visualize your shot. Go through your routine. Find your yardage. Pick your club so when it’s your turn to hit, you’re ready to go. Tip number three, keep your bag and cart organized. Know where your ball, ball markers, tees, gloves, all that [ __ ] is so you’re not looking for them every other hole. Tip number four, play smart. Don’t be a hero. Why are you waiting for the green to clear from 270 out when you have a terrible eye in the rough and you have no chance of reaching the green? Just hit the ball. Tip number five, limit how long you take to look for your ball. Look, we all hit it sideways. If you’re in the deep [ __ ] don’t take forever to look for your ball. Can’t find it, just drop one. And lastly, be efficient around the green. If you’re chipping, make sure you bring your putter so you don’t have to run back to the cart to grab it. If you leg it up to the hole within two feet, just tap it
