During my army service in the Greek Army I had 2 specialties. One was Gunner (for which I operated with the Heckler & Koch HK11 Light Machine gun, and the other was Armor Personel Carrier driver, and since the driver's seat in the armored vehicle had no space for a long-gun, I was armed with a Colt 1911 pistol. That particular 1911 was older than me. It was made in 1982, I was made in 1986. Like you say in the video, it being an army gun, there is no telling how many soldier hands it's been through. How many times it had been dropped, misshandled, dirtied, cleaned and everything in between. Yet when I was given it the first time, I put 6 in the mag and they all shot true. The gun never jammed, never complained. A true testament to genuine American engineering and manufacturing in my book.
Yep !!! I say no more…
Grand pa you haven't lost your edge, although you have gotten old
