for the main event of the evening live from Atlantic City New Jersey at the famous boardwalk Hall Boots Inis 33 and0 5′ 10 in tall taking on Stanonus who’s 5 foot8 he’s 30 years old both these fighters undefeated both of them in their prime both of them world champions get ready ladies and gentlemen will we see a fight of the year let’s go to David Diamante Hey hey okay gentlemen i’m scheduled to box 12 rounds for the IBF and WBA welterweight championship of the world going over the rules in the dress room i expect you to obey my commands at all times most of all protect yourself at all times touch gloves below this is for the unified welterweight championship of the world amionas and Geron Boots Inis could we see a fight of the year contender here we go 12 championship rounds between two undefeated champions you see Amata Stionis is going to try to set the pace of this fight early he is a pressure fighter and wants to come forward all night long and you can see Duke Sanders coming out from that orthodox stance right-handed i personally think he’s a better southpole and against fighters like Sandy you want to you want to give him the different lift you want to give him give him a different a different uh uh perspective you know you probably expected boots to come out softball coming out orthodox that uppercut got a smile out of Stanus who again his wife is due any day with a baby in fact she was due three days ago love that body shot around her guard that boots in his last fight oh nice counter left from Stanis his last fight stanis he he kind of got touched up in the body in those middle rounds i love the fact that Andis is already touching that body early the criticism for Boots in his last fight is that he was getting hit too often and too cleanly cuz he fights to his competition man he needs to be motivated he’s not motivated by a guy that he went 24 rounds with you can definitely see how sharp he is against Stionis he’s not going to get touched in this fight unless forces him to get touched see this is going to be a a fight where of course the matador is going to have the advantage over the bull cuz the bull has slower feet steady has slower feet flatter feet and he cuts off the ring really good going to his right but as a southpaw bloop going to his right it’s not a it’s not a he’s not as easy as cutting off the wing going to the left this is the ninth consecutive fight in which Stanis is facing both height and reach disadvantages and it’s 2 in taller 6 in reach advantage nice left from Stanotis and then a right and that’s the criticism we have in this is a beautiful combination to five six punches but got hit with one big shot land a good body shot there in that exchange this is the fight we thought we’d see stanis constantly trying to come forward and Inis trying to cut him off at the back yeah no feeling out uh between these two guys going straight at him [Applause] there’s those jabs you were calling for earlier from Stanon Sergio yeah but see he needs to do it in He needs to punch with Andis and has a slightly faster hands so if you’re going to be Sanis is either blocking or he’s jabbing he’s going to have to do a little bit of both at the same time trying to wind up uppercut and that’s going to be his punch no doubt about it and is just he’s shining right now man i mean everything just so smooth he’s not overloading on punches either [Applause] hoot’s team felt that Oh nice jab there from Stanionis hoot’s team felt that Stanis could bring out the best of it it’s that we haven’t seen the best of Boots yet cuz no one has taken him to that next level can this Lithuanian be the man to do it he’s grinded and lands a right hand and a counter left for Boots and that’s what Sio needs to do he landed a counter right on his own he punched with Boots he’s going to have to go to the fire both of them land their big right hands boots clearly has more pop that’s for sure 29 knockouts in his 33 wins good right hand from Stanis he’s getting his shots in Chris it’s just not nearly the same power that Dennis has on his yeah he’s got to put his combination together a little bit more just the body work of Bennett is so impressive at this stage and he is one of the better body punchers in all of box he’s digging down there boots has told us “Listen tonight’s going to be my crowning achievement my biggest moment.” He envisions himself finishing Stanis and celebrating in front of this very pro boot crowd and he’s given him plenty to cheer about offensively and defensively he is schooling Stanis so far as far as uh making them miss i mean you don’t make champions miss three four punches in a row like that good right hand from the Manis good shot right there and then downstairs upstairs that’s what you wanted to see when he got inside that’s exactly what he needs to do and And what Blue’s going to do better pick up that left hand oh nice left this is the best round for Stanis by far blues better pick up that left hand he’s getting lazy with that dropping that hand sonis is catching on now he caught on to the speed now and the timing hey he’s winning this round though you think this round he’s doing well there’s that uppercut is blocking those punches but they’re so powerful they’re still seemingly doing some damage backing him up and there’s a bloody nose now as he lands the right hand but eats a left of his own boots coming on here as Stanus covers up he’s turning into a bloody [Applause] mess that’s another thing that stands have been issues with you know you can’t you can’t keep someone in the same in the same space you can’t get him against the ropes big swing and a miss there from Stanonus you know activity matters especially for boxers but you know whenever you have the style of stand you would think that it doesn’t bother you as much i think I think the footwork is bothering San Die the fact that he can’t compete with the the foot speed of Edis and look those body shots right there that’s Sanotis’ kryptonite I believe yeah he’s shrinking and now boots te with the left uppercut and down goes Danny Otis he softened him up to the body and came up with the oppos breaking down again this way the face tells the tale blood everywhere and the body’s not doing much better can boots seal the deal here in round six 10 seconds to go [Applause] stanis still in there swinging his guns and he’ll make it to the end of the round and they’re going to wave it off they have waved it off danny Otis’s corner has seen enough as Gerard boots in this gets his crowning moment the defining win of his career and he’s done it right here in Atlantic City no mas for the Lithuanian and man that was a beatdown a professional championship style beatd down by Boot Sanders man that was surgical accurate man this is great this is greatness we’re watching greatness in the making [Applause] and that’s the moment that Geron has picked up his 34th win he’s got 30 knockouts now and there’s not going to be a lot of criticism for Boots after this one ladies and gentlemen referee David Fields calls a halt in his contest the official time of the stoppage 3 minutes of round number six declaring a winner by TKO he’s still undefeated he’s still the IBF and the new unified WBA and Ring Magazine welterweight champion of the world Jer [Applause]

  3. Been ridin with Boots since the amateurs, bro is that guy. Had two mild performances where he clearly still won and everyone claims hes food lol, goofy take

  4. Cuando uno ve que Crawford le salió huyendo a ese sicópata de Jeron henni es porque no es fácil tiene demasiado recursos y un oper cud demasiado fuerte ahora mismo ese es el mejor boxeador libra por libra

  5. Are these guys really the same weight? There appears to be a huge size difference not just height. You can clearly see the punching power difference but just the sheer size difference makes this an unfair contest. I have seen Stanionis take a lot more from Butaev but still beat him. You could see from first round he could not take Ennis's body punches. I think all fights should have weigh ins the day of the fight and rehydration clause.

  6. I think Eimantas came poorly prepared from gameplan/tactics point of view, he never had his lead foot behind the front foot of Ennis, when a orthodox stance fights southpaw the position of lead foot is very important if one does not have a lead foot behind or parallel to the side to your opponents you can only get a single shot out, Stanionis had his best moments when Boots had no real estate to move (he was cornered) he should have pushed Boots to corners or against the ropes because Boots feet are too fast for Stanionis to deal with him when he's in the middle, who knows if that would have changed the outcome but would have increased chances for Stanionis exponentially.

  7. It’s funny boots is unifying and Norman is beating 140 pounders that’s never did anything but yet you all blame boots for not wanting to wait around while they play games
