DO THIS To Stop Your Slice ππ» #golf #shorts
so if your arms get too much air in front of you just like Josh at the top of the back swing as soon as you add rotation into the start of the down swing that club is going to be massively over the top my club path as a result of doing a swing like that is absolutely going to be to the left 9.5Β° to the left so when it comes to fixing Josh’s slice or yours if you have that pattern it’s step four and step five of fix your slice so the first thing is we’ve got to get the arms deeper around the body so it’s going to feel like maybe a slightly fuller turn but the arms now you can see the butt of the club is getting in behind the heel as opposed to out in front of it okay 3.7Β° to the right just because I’ve got the club around here more doesn’t mean we’re going to get rid of that over the top move we could still be starting the down swing with a lot of rotation in the down swing so this is the one step five this is the best drill you can do to get rid of the over the top back to the target at the top of the back swing arms are deep now from here keep your back facing the target for as long as possible in transition you can see where this club is relative to plane now that’s what we’ll see we will see high looping hooks as a
Get your arms deeper in the backswing, this will help shallow out the club if you’re swinging over the top. See the difference instantly!

Great video champ !
Does this apply to the other clubs?
Can you recommend a drill(s) for the first part? I seem to struggle getting my arms in that position
sl8ce to right…
I get the club behind me, but arms still above shoulder plane. Whatβs the downside to being way behind? I donβt suck it in, club on plane half way back but but of the club way behind heels.
I haven't tried that idea of get your arms deeper in the backswing, I hope it don't get that "stuck behind" problem.
Terrible tip
From a slice to a high looping hook. Perfect
