the Mundi German Masters coming from just south of Hamburg at the Green Eagle Golf Courses which has hosted the men’s European tour the previous seven years but for the first time being hosted for the ladies European tour and a first le event outside of Spain for the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Champion Carla Bernat and an excellent Ident round of 69 in the tougher morning conditions has taken the Spaniard to two under par the star name in the field Hamburg’s own Esther Henselite has put herself in the mix the world number 21 just a few shots off the pace heading into the weekend how about this for a way to finish for Dixia Dagger the Indian 11th on the Elder Emmerit rolling one in at the ninth for a 73 level par for the day four under overall she’s four shots back so Dagger going well as is Hannah Screen the English players finished in the top 12 in her last four ladies European tour starts this birdie at the 15th took her to five under she did drop one after that but at 4 under she is well placed once again sofia Kibgore Nielson in the mix a really nice up and down at the last has left her at five under par alice Houston one of the four players who was in a share of the lead overnight the English players had a slow start to the year but looks like she’s ready to pounce in Germany around a 72 left her at six under part same story for Amelia Garvey the big hitter from New Zealand with a real bonus birdie here at 16 six under par good enough to be two shots off the pace shannon Tan one shot better a bogey-free round of 69 from the only player from Singapore to win on the ladies European tour but two players out ahead one is Eleanor Sudo the Swede with a birdie at the last on her 27th birthday and around 70 nice way to celebrate and joining her at the summit is Helen Bream teenage German with a lovely T-shot here at the par 314th like Sudo going in with rounds of 68 and 70 we had a German champion in last year’s Amundi German Masters and the way Bream is going right now there may be another
