The TOUR returns to the Rocket Classic in Detroit, Michigan, where there are plenty of big-name stars teeing it up alongside some of the game’s best up-and-comers. Travelers Championship winner and 2025 United States Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley is among the field heading to the Motor City, looking to drive home another win this week. Alongside Bradley, and topping the field is the world No. 5 Collin Morikawa, who lost here in a playoff in 2023 and will be looking for a different fortune this time round. Joining these two are players such as Rickie Fowler, Hideki Matsuyama and Min Woo Lee. Detroit Golf Club will once again play host, and at the conclusion of this year’s event, it’s set to undergo a $16-million renovation – including all new greens.

sporty save right there okay
got some juice here
he’s working hard bob and Tom were quite the team and Tom hit all those shots but he even Doc was always like that 60 yard range is just a it’s a bad range got nap time let’s get this in the bottom of the cup nap time first birdie of the day jake Knap from 12 ft aggressive line middleish right center of the green trying to hit saw a little one off left to right and he likes it get up go all right advantage 313 let’s go from 30 ft on the way no darn it

on this Friday morning second round of the Rocket Classic and hole 17 jake Knap who’s making a move today to try to make the cut
yeah and making a move at that golf ball too absolutely roasted left side of the fairway just looks so slow through the movement but he’s got such great power all right we’re dancing you can see he was kind of tapping his club on his shoulder because I think he was
and Jake Nat he’s got the power to get to the green and two at 17 this for Eagle yeah this this putt may be swinging a little bit from right to left at the end and just like so I think we’re going to see a lot of like we saw yesterday a lot of eagle opportunities but I think we’re going to see a lot of Eagles on 17 today jake Nap at the first
jake Nap with a syrupy tempo and the low ball flight and skip and a stop type shot does that very very nicely very quiet hands through that swing and
was able to hold that and validate the beautiful wet shot is he just hit in here on the T at the second it’s Nap
Jay Nap 11 fly there there are some bunkers that cross this ferry but they’re not in play today the pin but very makeable
jake Nat and the best round of the day so far is second at the second yeah having to contend with that rough and judges it nicely read the light the
pace set by Chris Kirk at 13 undern stacking up the birdies today there’s another at the second he’s on a little bit of a heater
what we like to call the par five swing to get a little extra juice
this guy has plenty of it quick pick of the tea is always a good sign and that is top 30 in average driving distance at 308 we mentioned earlier worth repeating go he was begging and just short of the green big Nap left in a pretty good spot here at the par five up and over perfectly played how about a three absolutely perfect i I’ve got to believe it’s going to drop a couple of shots jake Nap began the round tied for 130th he now shares 17th place nap has reached the fifth
all right
keep it going
yeah 53 yards good looking golf swing [Applause] jake Nap to go 900 for the round
well every bit everything’s been so smooth and just continues 208
showing some teeth today what a shot
man oh man this guy having a day right now best putter on the course
oh wow denied still going to get to 10 under for the round with a birdie there at the seventh there’s nap at the eighth two off the lead wow that’s got a lot of hang time on it there drove it down there way down there and actually pretty good shape out of the rough didn’t have to worry about the spin and Oh that’s going to be a tap in bird he’s flying good chance at the course record this is going to send him 11 deep for the day par the ninth at 61 no one’s ever gone lower see if Jake Knap can bring it home cleanly for the course record par three playing 203 yards today and going to have to work a little short game magic swanie okay here at the ninth Jake Knap up and in for 61 the course record at hand how about 60 oh baby what a finish what a round of golf i mean he is just so chill on the golf course scorching hot round for a chill dude well 62 stood as the course record for less than 24 hours here at the Detroit Golf Club jake Knap one better on this fabulous Friday thanks for watching the PJ Tour on YouTube for more videos click here to subscribe click
