He also has a very nice slice backhand. Very low over the net. Difficult to counter. And to make it even deadlier, he sees his impeccable footwork to prepare his forehand down the line. This is tennis, from another universe.

I wonder if this year it will be the same story as the previous 2. Carlitos does well on clay and grass and then makes a disappearing act the rest of the season the atp finals included. He must win the masters in order to be in the GOAT conversation something that will always keep Nadal out at least in my book.
