If you don’t know alignment is the most important lesson in golf. Why? Because if you are miss aligned you need a swing flaw to hit a perfect shot on target.
This means that you are seeing bad shots as good shots and good shots as bad shots. From a square alignment you will be able to tell where you are hitting the ball so you can fix your swing if the ball is not on target.
This alignment tip explains exactly how to put down the alignment stick. You would think this would be easy but in all my years of teaching few students have even done it right.
Watch this tip then make sure the next time you practice you are properly aligned. This will show you exactly where you are hitting the ball. Plus, once you get used to a square alignment you will visually see what square is so you can align properly out on the course.
