what’s up guys currently 5:50 a.m in the morning we are on our way over to Las Vegas National i am playing in the Vegas Golf Network Golf Tournament it’s a you’re on your own playing your own score still yet to shoot 80 or under 80 in a tournament setting my goal should be 79 but my goal is 76 if I could shoot 76 I will be extremely happy whether I win or lose my handicap right now is a 4.5 so I might get a few strokes here and there not too sure if I will or not but super excited to get there get loose and I just wanted to let you guys know within the next two weeks the Golf Fathers are heading south baby we will be in Alabama May 30th through June 2nd a ton of crazy ideas i cannot wait for you guys to meet some of these people that are out there um this is the same spot that I went to do the people’s championship with Carter and I have been so excited to bring the Golf Fathers there and um I cannot be happier and cannot be more excited all right Pete let’s go win a golf tournament or at least go compete i think the closest I’ve been was like with two holes to play I was like two strokes back and I was like four over and then I realized that and then with the last two holes I think I went like six over super excited to see where I’m at it’s been a while here we go there he is am I with you big dog let’s go here we go let’s have some fun today all right we got the plane flying over us what else is new but we are getting ready to start i think we are starting on hole 16 which is a very very long par three so I’m going to try not to psych myself out before we even start but it’s a beautiful day out it’s a little chilly it’s going to warm up i’m feeling great i’m ready to go take this thing down 76 is the goal i will see you guys on the first te let’s go win this damn thing all right we’re here first hole we’re the second group off we’re uh we’re group B so we’re going to let these guys go a par here on the par three to start would mean the world to me um it’s a long I think it’s like 185 h is right next to a bunker going to let these guys tee off and we’ll see what happens here we go hole one 185 i got a seven iron i’m just going to spray and pray get down okay I’ll take that i’ll take that a little short caught it a little thin but I’m not in a bunker and I’m not OB so I’m happy with it breaking out a new 60 for the round shout out to Tacomao never been touched i’m gonna putt it just want to get this close all right [ __ ] all right bogey on one i was scared to chip i didn’t get any chips in and I had this brand new wedge so I didn’t want to chip it so I left it short um read the read the next putt wrong thought it was breaking left to right but it broke right to left um plus one everyone bogey this is a tough hole so let’s get let’s go get it back let’s get a birdie right here all right precision Pro says 292 i’m going for it let’s just take myself out of the tournament right away or or be in it one of the two don’t feel like I deserved a bogey there but maybe I did because of the decision I made of not chipping um there was a hill behind the pin that I could have if I you know scolded a little bit it would have probably came back down but I got to have more faith in my hands as Chris would say be a gamer i’m just going to grip it and rip it pray for the best [Music] i’ll take it down the middle probably got like 60 yards in going to have to hit wedge now all right Pete i think that’s a good one i think it might be a little deep i think I think I’m just a little bit past the hole so hopefully I got a good look at birdie here i think I’m on the fringe these greens move man this is going to be fast so I’m just going to nestle this up there sit take that oh my gosh you would have pissed me off all right that was a par scary one but on to hole three oh damn par five little little stratosphere background try to take it up the left side that’s gone what’s the ruling there do I drop up there what’ you do i went in the water in the water yeah yeah look at Look at my eyes right now the wind in my eyes is making my [ __ ] eyes cry kind of blocked out from the green just going to try to get it up somewhere up there i think that’s good i think that’s really good i just don’t know what’s up there i didn’t know there was water right there pete almost I almost went in again yeah oh man that would have been brutal if I was in there twice i got to get up and down from par for par from there kind of on like a little uphill i got some geese [ __ ] all right I’m going to test out this new 60 right now such a bad play going to hit that no I’m in the thing of the bunker when I said in the car that I played the par fives like [ __ ] out here [ __ ] doing it again and bogei three par fives so if I could play the same way I played on Friday taking away the the bogeies on the par fives I’m going to be happy [Music] that had some check on it this is very early our biggest putt of the day i got to save bogey here golly man i just can’t get out of my own way sometimes Petey [Applause] [Music] par five again let’s try to shake off these par five wos gosh oh my gosh all right I’m going to try to like reset not care so much just be out here and play golf i’m going to take a eight iron and just punch it out there’s water up there along the right hand side so I don’t want to take something that could get to the green and flare it out right and then I’m dropping again so I’m going to try to hug this this uh tree right here this tree line and just punch it out perfect perfect perfect look at that look I’m dig making a sand castle with this [ __ ] thing i got 60 yards but it’s probably playing closer to 80 um little bit of headwind i’m going to throw a 60 up in the air and hopefully it gets up there all right got a birdie look the par five wows downhill birdie putt um not going to get too aggressive going after this but I do want to make this love to see this go in [Music] it’s a good putt just didn’t go in yeah it was a good putt i’ll take the par after that drive three over through four didn’t get one birdie at all on Friday would love to change that today i’m going to try to let this one rip i haven’t had a good drive in like 3 weeks so I think I’m due there we go told you I was due up and down here for birdie i don’t know whether to take this high and land it at the flag or kind of 52 it to the front of the green i’m going to make a decision on that by the time I walk to my ball 60 come left all right not a great shot but not a terrible one kind of threw it out a little bit right but I have a pin high probably 15footer for birdie when you don’t know the line you just go at the hole you see I read that completely wrong thought that was going right to left these are these are the death of me right here bro confidence thank you did you feel my energy over that putt Pete that was nerve-wracking as hell 180 playing 187 it said Titan Elite Baby oie has my back cuz I was going to hit I was going to hit a eight it’s definitely a seven is it a seven though six no it’s definitely not a six cuz the wind’s on our back i’m making another game time decision [ __ ] me man is that on is that on i can’t yeah you’re good all right hell yeah couldn’t Almost missed the ball and it went on all right that’s fine good thing I took the seven all right it’s downhill but it’s also blowing wind right in our face so I think it’s going to slow the putt down a little bit i don’t want to get too aggressive here but I also need to start knocking down some shots so I’m going to go after it but I’m not going to not going to blow it by if I’m a little short I’ll be okay [Music] i’m I’m putting I’m putting so scared right now thank you all right three over through six now I’ve stringed together a couple pars stressful pars but I’ve got them going um I would like to start hitting the ball right and start playing some golf now the body’s moving it’s time to start going let’s go Pete unfortunately I feel like a little child um I was told multiple times to not lose the scorecard and I lost the scorecard so if I hit a bad shot here I deserve it i’m in grass it’s all I could ask for especially after going against the golf gods like that 213 playing 221 calls for the perfect four iron i’m not going to get too aggressive i’m just going to try to hit a good shot get left get left lovely all right just missed the bunker i think I got a little up and down chip um probably pin high in the rough let’s go we’re a little short who knows i’m going to go with the putter just because if I chip it and [ __ ] up I’m going to just think about how I should have putted this until next week okay love that love that gives me a chance at birdie this birdie I think this birdie would get me within one shot of the lead through almost nine holes so I’m right there with as bad as I’ve played I’m right there you got to have it thank you thank you just a ball right off my shoulders i’m ready a [ __ ] ball let’s go a lot of lot of areas to miss right so I’m going to start it in the middle of the fairway swing hard and if it goes right I’m going to be okay yeah I’m pretty sure there’s a big grass area cuz I was over there last time I played here so just got there’s a couple trees though that’s the only negative is you might be stuck behind a couple trees but we’ll be fine this is not ideal um looks like I have the only opportunity I have is to go right here i’m going to try to keep it low and just run it through all the stuff oh my gosh this is scary wish me luck hey that was Pete i’m going to need you to clip that up immediately as soon as you get home make that a reel send it to me please cuz that was the coolest shot I’ve ever hit throw it on the ground pete that was a phenomenal shot man um I couldn’t ask for anything better than what I just did right there now I just got a two putt get out of here with a par and um I actually get the one stroke that I get for the whole tournament is on the next hole but it’s a hole that I struggle with notoriously cuz it’s a big dog leg left oh the funny thing about golf rules is just because of that centimeter of grass that’s in between my ball and the green i can’t Oh look at this but what a what a chip i can’t touch my ball i can’t line it up so this is all feel i’m just going to try to get it to this uh down slope and let it come in [Music] it’s got to sit Pete it’s got to sit [Music] okay it’s not not terrible i gave it too much break come on this will be a great par save thank you God thing though conditions are getting tough out here wind is blowing course is not easy there’s going to be some high scores coming in so I just got to stay stay mentally right i think plus four plus five could win this thing today so I think I got the line i just got to get the speed yeah big thank you it’s big for the mental big for the mental okay big for the mental right there um little scramble par uh look like we just said before it’s going to get it’s going to get shaky out there it’s windy like this next par three is going to be tough i think if I could just stay where I’m at right now I’ll have a chance to win i got to start getting these par putts a little close i would love a tap in par for once precision Pro Titan Elite best rangefinder in the game i got I [ __ ] forgot honestly yep i got 672 you want to know why it’s because he’s got a rage fighter like us too shane Lowry how his ball was plugged did you see that you don’t think that’s a bad rule like you should you should have get penalized for hitting the fairway it’s a bad rule but everyone else is playing it i agree i agree our friend Bob West so I I used to be [ __ ] adamant divots in the fairways is the worst rule in golf right so I talk with him like I’m like it’s [ __ ] ground under repair you hit a great shot and he goes “So let me ask you this you you hit your shot right it hits a tree and bounces in the middle of the fairway do you go over and put it behind the tree?” No like no and he’s like “Yeah sometimes you get good brakes sometimes you get bad brakes.” That’s [ __ ] golf that’s golf [Music] sit down holy [ __ ] that was I thought that was going over the bunker my My brain’s telling me to chip it’s my like my gut is just telling me just get it on the green Rocky but if I putt this and I come up short I could end up way down there look I’m not going to come here and win a golf tournament playing like that i’m going to have some faith in my hands see what I can do here [Music] it’s why I don’t chip Pete i just need to follow my gut something was just telling me putt putt putt putt putt still didn’t listen to myself really want to just get this close get out of here with the bogey for bogey yeah freaking saved a massacre cuz if I that missed that was going five six feet by two so uh hit the hole on the par putt but just had it coming in too hot um I just checked the uh leaderboard and before that hole I was one back so I’m guessing I’m now two back which is just fine like I said scores are going to be high we just got to we just got to survive i mean there should be no more bogey holes after that that was a hole that I knew coming into this round was going to be tough um especially with the wind in your face so all right on to the next one i don’t know why we can’t get one hole where the wind’s at our back but so what so I was told by a Callaway fitter that that line and this line should be lined up and I can’t change it now because we started the tournament i’m not directly behind a tree i could go over it so that’s a that’s a plus do I play it like this yeah does that mean if it’s nine i’m going to go nine just in case the wind picks up be a little deep oh look at that oh it’s What the hell just happened a wall of wind how did that come back bro that was That was going this way and just went That was crazy wow that was insane but hey he pulled it yeah I’ll take that holy [ __ ] i’ll take it if you guys ever need any uh advice on how to talk to your ball and get it to do what you want let me know keep hitting fairways and greens i could do this i think this is going to snap that’s a tough That’s a tough putt those are two good putts that birdie putt was a lot faster and tougher than I thought i thought I hit two good putts there and they both just didn’t drop i’m I’m not going to get upset still right there all right something that’s been on my mind a lot do you like a a canned Coke a bottled Coke or a fountain Coke cuz the fountain is undefeated what’s over there 14 is that water no okay see like I hit that right in the center of the face how come it didn’t go straight i don’t know you know I’m really forcing myself to hit some golf shots today couldn’t put myself in much worse positions than I have been but you know what i’m having a great time uh I got 125 yards to the pin i honestly have a decent look at it so um I got my 52 oh no here’s where the wheels fall off pete another shitty situation [ __ ] wheels are falling off [Music] i’m on a bogey train i’m on a bogey train i just can’t get out of my own way man just on a bogey train i’d love to run off i’d love to play the rest of the holes like two under everything’s fat [ __ ] man everything’s fat and chunky i’m probably dipping my knees just a little bit just can’t finish i am going to say my golf game has came a long way like I’m in a position to where I could win one of these soon that seemed like that was never a possibility so I’m just going to keep grinding keep doing what I do and eventually one of these I’m going to win woo hell yeah look at this lip my gosh take everything back i just said spin is that pretty impressive i I had to swing hard to get it up over that you know who You know what they should make Pete they should have they should hire like a bunch of like uh young kids that just stand around the bunkers to just rake them for you nobody Nobody wants to rake a bunker all right I’m out way to the right it’s going to This is going to be another snappy just give me one please another bogey you get caught i think that puts me at seven over look one bad shot of hole is hurting me that’s all that’s all it is pete I’m going to bang one out there big bounce fast is my pace yeah that one was hit that one was beat i got to get a good second shot and then that shot will be worth it all right I’m going to go low 52 uh I got 85 yards i’m just going to try to land right on the front of the green let it roll to the back stop okay i don’t know i think that’s a little deep i did what I wanted to do at least got a I got a birdie chance here i should just walk up to it and hit it and get it over with but I’m going to put a mark down got to have this one thank you all right it’s another birdie i’m just going to just gonna What’s that you’re psyching yourself oh I sure I if you guys could only live in my brain for one of those putts like don’t do this don’t do that don’t do this but hey bounce back hole after four birdies or f four bogeies in a row just birdied puts me back to five or six over um I’m going to just try to enjoy myself the last couple holes and just see what happens i think I need to I need to I need to go for it that’s tough to try to I need to go for it to try to score so a lot of trouble on the right hand side it’s a drivable par4 i’m going to give it everything I got though let’s go hit a tree hit a tree did it fall down fell down got to love the positions that I put myself in all right got to keep it low i’m I got a pitching wedge going to put in the back of my stance let it run up stop how did that just keep going i thought that was going to be perfect feet that was the line it’s just like sometimes my ball never stops sometimes it does i just never know how hard to hit these damn things out here or not thank you god I felt great Pete just wish I didn’t make so many stupid mistakes earlier cuz I would have had a real chance to win this thing i got like 186 i’m going to hit my seven sit sit trap golly man just can’t get out of my own way see I’m not even like so much worried about the shot i’m just worried about the 12 to 14 ft of sand I’m going to have to rake afterwards should just be a kid like right there with this with a chair oh oh I had to I hit it clean
