let’s talk a little bit about this year’s US Open Give me um kind of some of your thoughts Is Scotty just going to dominate If Scotty Sheffler wins the US Open at Oakmont then it it would be deserved but it’s not exactly fun for the rest of us right Because let’s be honest nobody is more built for the carnage of Scotty right now His TA Green game is an absolute joke He just like runs laps over the field He gains strokes in literally every facet And if Oakmont is going to be a blood bath which is what they’re expecting super thick rough glassy greens then they’re even saying that the winning score is going to be hovering somewhere around par Well that is Scotty’s dream scenario because he doesn’t need a birdie fest He just needs everybody else to fall apart while he stays steady and that’s what he does best But the thing is like it’s really hard to root for inevitability So we’re all wondering then if he’s going to be in contention It’s not really that we don’t think he will be in contention It’s how many people can keep up with him because right now we’ve we’ve been saying it for so long Scotty Shuffler right now is very tiger in the sense that even his BAME gives Scotty the edge up on anybody to win any tournament at any course in any condition So yeah Can I see Sheffler winning Absolutely For content for drama for the betting value I hope we see somebody else challenge him And I do have a couple of ideas Do you want to share some of those ideas Maybe some top 20s The guys that I’m going to be looking for both either in the outright and or in the top 20 top 10 Cory Connors is one of them And right now his odds to win the tournament is uh plus 5,000 is 50 to1 Um yeah he’s playing some of his best all-around golf right now And that’s really not a fluke That’s been all of 2025 Connors has been if not one of the most consistent players across the board You want to have tight fairways at Oakmont No problem Because Connors is also one of the straightest hitters on tour which is exactly what you need to get out of jail when you’re playing at Oakmont He’s seventh in driving accuracy And on a course where placement matters more than power Ta Green game dominance is a massive edge And you can’t win a US Open by chasing birdies you have to win by avoiding mistakes and Connors is quietly one of the best at damage control So he’s definitely somebody that I’m looking at for a top 20 He’s been great even in the top 10 market as of late And if you look at his last four majors four top 25 finishes two of which were in the top 10 I love Connors as somebody who’s probably still undervalued in the golf world right now because it’s not a flashy name And who else are you looking at uh for the US Open I know it’s early but who else are you looking at So the other player would be Colin Moriawa And I hate that I’m saying that because he’s burned me as a better a couple of times this season But Okon is all about precision It’s all about patience And Moriawa may not have with a hot putter He never does But his accuracy ta green game makes him less likely to need the short game bell out And if it’s true that the Bruff is really as bad as it is and the Greens are as marble fast as they predict them to be then if the winning score really does hover around par or worse Morawa is control and calm can definitely win out And he’s won a major so he knows how to do it And he’s won a major He’s been here before All right Pamela let’s make a breaking parlay All right let’s do let’s just do a couple of top 20s right now Let’s do Oh let’s make it Let’s add the third leg We’ll do uh Cory Connor’s top 20 We’ll do Colin Morawa top 20 And then we’ll do a Scotty Shuffler top 10 Done No player that I trust more for a top 10 than Scotty Shuffler Best of luck to all your slips at the US Open Best of luck to all your slips in the future And catch her on ESPN bet every Wednesday Thank you so much Pamela No thank you Thank you
