Creating another compact mallet putter option based on tour player input and feedback, Scotty Cameron rolls out the new Phantom 5.2 and Phantom 7.2 each with a distinctive I-beam-style plumbing neck. This putter neck configuration gives players a familiar view from address and furthers the concept of offering a putter that performs like a mallet with the feel and setup of a blade.

the Phantom 5.2 and the 7.2. We’ve been doing for the tour uh plumbing necks because a lot of guys use a plumbing neck for alignment. Saw a great adoption to those add-on tour. So, we wanted to bring them in the marketplace. We had to figure out the best way to get the right weight and feel. So, Scotty came to us with some different neck options. Once we found the right neck, I mean, it was a sought-after product. So, this gives the exact same neck and the exact same toe flow as a Newport 2. This is a perfect intro into the mallet world.

  1. Scotty a little deep dive into your history and your shop and design philosophy would be nice.

Your putters look the same for the last 6 years. You don’t take time to the amateur.
