That’s a heck of a combination. I just love the way he goes about his business. Very seldom do you see him get excited and when he gets on the roll, as we saw in Dallas, it was just staggering how well he hit the ball. Aimed the left center of the green, maybe even left edge. That was skinny, Andy. That was not hit well. Right in that bunker. That’s off the road that 45 yd bunker shot aggressive stroke from scouter. I say went left. Yeah, I think that might have been a misread. I think they probably thought it was pretty straight. He definitely went left. Big left. Quick left. You got trees. You got bunkers. That one. In the background there. That would be ideal. That’s kind of right at that tree. A just did exactly what you were saying. Try to put it out there in the front right of the screen. Oh, it grabbed grabbed much quicker than he anticipated. Clean this one up and go to the next one. Okay. Okay, so all three players in our featured group find the fairway at 12. Some mud on Scotty’s ball. up from 158. Matt, [Music] that was a massive bounce. Had to contend with shots like this. Yeah, just a delicate little shot right there. Kind of a little stab. No problem. Yep. If there’s anyone that can handle that type of adversity, it’s Scotty Sheffller. Make it from on the short side. He just chopped down on it. Ball came out perfectly. So the world number one gets back to even par. He makes so many of those. Yeah, you almost expect him to at this point there. There are no gaps in his game. He He does everything exceptionally well. That’s a nice little get back on track. Just a gorgeous morning to play golf. Now they’re awkward. Saw the same kind of finish from John Rom and the same sort of result. That bites quicker than he probably would have liked. Also, I think you have I think you have to factor in what you just saw. Perfect. Good putt. That was a big time puck. Excellent up and down for Scotty. Scrambling through these first few holes to stay at even par. Now a great birdie chance. Okay. shot that Andy watched Scotty Sheffller hit so many of. He’s going with putter. I like it. Yeah. I mean, you have to go over that little false edge right there. And I mean, if you get going birdie putt has to keep this inside the hole. Quick. That just continues to be an uneven start for Scotty Chef. Not to second guess him. I wonder if he’s thinking maybe I should have pitched that ball instead of trying to putt it up that slope. Well, that is over the tree on the left. Looks like I was going to say I don’t know if it’s over it. Yeah, it’s in the fairway. your club to hit from the three iron out of the rock. 241 that is way up in the air as well. That’s in that spot. It’s going to get a ton of business. Still have that left to stay at three under now. Sheffller’s birdie putt on its way. Scotty Sheffller. So he hasn’t done anything. ships in to anchor birdie pulls it from off the infield. He’s 200 under apart. Effort from Scotty Sheffller. T- shot kind of through the tree. Could have gone anywhere. Come on. I’m too under. Anyway, those guys are looking down at that bunker. I mean, playing left of that and just keep it in play. And that’s just inside the bunker. So, that is longest drive of the day. Oh, that’s aggressive. That is aggressive. That’s got to get down. He’s going to try the same shot. He’s going to go upstairs as well. Pretty much no other option. And it’s even further away. I mean it is just a bad miss here at the six 16 chefller for bogey. Two putts from here would be good. You’re going straight up the hill and I think with this whole location from this low area. This is putt that’s always hard to get to the hole. So Scotty in for double bogey. He lost both strokes from the Eagle at 15. He’s back to even. Scotty’s got a five iron. Made a double and still has the T. Oh my god, that was not well struck. That was fortunate right there. Yeah, that you get a little worried. You could tell he was nervous. That is fabulous. Yeah, beautiful pace. Maybe never three pars more welcome from that group than those three on that hole. It should set up beautifully for his eye as you mentioned with the drawing there. All right, the T- ball for Scotty. Well, that’s a good start. line except it’s moving a little bit right. Okay. Yep. Bunker out there is sort of a actually a nice target line. I think he has to hit it right on the nose. Pretty good looking shot. You hit on the nose. Chef for birdie. It’s got some pace. Got some pace. Take a little bit of the breakout. Put some speed behind it. That’s a good far puck for Scotty. Up the hill right to left. Pours it right in. Luck is pretty solid there. PGA championship was last played here was the hardest opening hole. [Music] Number one player on tour in terms of strokes, gain of approach. It’s a pretty good strike. It’s kind of where they’re looking. I think you know players don’t like to be defensive with putter. You like to be aggressive. That looked like a much more aggressive release, but yeah, I like the positive motion there. Hitting four out of the bunker. Drops two shots. Sheffller, no [Applause] problem. Par on what was the most difficult hole in the golf course. Well, that’s challenging the left hand side. And I think he hit his line. hit a tree, but it does come down in that shorter first cut. He passed the quiz and now he hits his second at two. Well, 155 yards. That may be one of the bigger iron shots he’s hit. Yeah. Then I’m going 75. Oh, let him know Billy Crouch. He’s one under par through all of it. That one’s working nicely towards the left hand side of the fairway. We’ll cut the back left. Take it right at the three that you see at camera tower behind the green. He hit a couple of those six irons much further than he thought. Just chef with his long birdie temp from the fringe. Yeah, just a nudge out of the lie downhill gaining speed. I don’t know if you can keep it short from he’s going to have probably six, seven feet. Just kind of inside right I think that really never looked like it was online. All made double on the 16th. Here’s Sheffler all things considered at even par. He’s still right in the mix. And that’s on a a nice line. Finds the center of the G. Not too much in this putt. Extremely makeable. Just slammed it through the right edge. True to form with Scotty. He just says, “Not really. Just out here. We’ve played this golf course before. They feel familiar with it. runs out of gas on the T. It’s Scotty. T- shot just screams for a little tiny fade just like that. Maybe too much. Shorter hitter can’t play well hit, but they have to be so precise. Back to five here. And Scotty from that bunker. It’s pretty good play. That was lacking a yard. Scott going to be raked at the bottoms. Scotty trying to get up and down. It’s pretty well played from there, I’d say. So, this one’s straight up the hill moving to his left. Good hold there. And he remains even parked. I think he’s got to bust it. I mean, he’s got to get a little extra out of this. That’s not cutting. So, now this low left and it’s been undone by a couple of poor swings to six. Well done by Scotty Sher. [Applause] Got through a couple pick shots early in the round with that one. Play the six at par par which is quarter stroke better than the field. He’ll take it seems to like it. Woo! [Applause] Two really good T- shots to seven. Scotty Chef his second and seven. That’s from 219. Andy, that was a forearm. A little bit to his right. But if he keeps the speed up, I like his chances. If there was a disappointing birdie, that would be one of them. There aren’t many of them out there. Thought he had a great opportunity to make that. Another rarity. Another short par four. The eight 342 yds at Sheffller. tree left of the green. Be a great start line. Back to eight and shuffler. Well, trying to throw it up in the air. Use a little trajectory. Oh, nestled down pretty good. Going to get a little bit of help. keeps coming back for Sheffer trying to get another one on his card. So, Scotty Chef will have that for birdie. This is kind of what we were talking about. You get number seven, you have an opportunity here. And Curtis, bit of a disappointment for that group to just get the one birdie. One under. He’s broken par in nine of his last 10 opening rounds at majors. is the only exception 2024 US Open. And this has just been I mean, you would probably say maybe a subpar round for Scotty Sheffller. And yet once again, you find himself in the top 20. Scotty’s second on nine. Another sixiron, the best he’s hit today. That’s as good an approach as we’ve seen on nine. Spectacular from the world’s number one player. So, one number in the red. There’s a lot going on on this card. [Music] Poor start here with the T-shot well left into the gallery. Almost looks like somebody stepped on it, but they didn’t. Just get this around the green. That’ be a good play. [Applause] Not bad at all. Andy, this is exactly what you might expect. These are really important short ones on the very first hole. Throws it in. That was a good job. 14 shot on the first hole. He needs to hit a good one here. Looks good. Yeah, really good. That changes this hole. [Music] Trying to keep this below the hole. That’s good. Shler trying to pour one in on top of Mroy. That one looked low just about the whole way. You can never take these for granted, can you? Not on greens this quick. You just have to keep paying attention. Shuffler missing the birdie putt. This is started left. Whoa. To the green. Nice shooting text. That was very professional, gentlemen. What a good line. Burries that one. Yeah, eight iron really fits his shot shape beautifully. Start at 15 20 ft left of the hole and let it just slide to the right. That slid too much Saturday night to four. That’s Scotty Sheffler out of the bunker. Just got to carry it just out of the bunker and release. And that is as good as you can do. Sure is. Sandy North. [Applause] Clean card for Scotty. Agreed with it. He’ll be teeing off late Saturday as he tries to change all that to the tea on five. Bunker left in play for Scotty. Right in it. Bunker to the pit. Shler second. Yeah, I would think he’d be going left of that front bunker if it’s a chance he lie. Looks like he caught enough of it. Almost right of it. Yeah, just barely covered that bunker though. It’s going to trickle down. That was all It just wasn’t that perfect clean lie that you would love out of a fairway bunker. Perfect lie. You surely expect within three or four feet every time. He makes a bunch of these. [Applause] brings everyone back closer. But now you realize Scotty’s only five back and it’s only early Friday for him. 252. This is a big foreign. That one comes up short right and it’s uphill so he can give one a pretty good whack. He did on a good line. Scotty Sheffller scared it with that long putt. And he did. And here he is. Sheffller just a really nice long two putt. You have a highlight moment. We’ll make sure the folks back at home see it. Scotty on the tea at seven. Oh, stop it. Skirted the first bunker. [Music] Scotty Chef’s third will come up short. Just an awkward two putts from here would be just fine. [Music] Hard to get it there, but Scotty [Applause] did. Excellent. Two. The best he can do is put it maybe 30 yards short of the green in between these two bunkers would be perfect. That is in the right hand rough where we saw Matthew Fitzpatrick a moment ago as he heads to the par 510th to eight and Shepler second coming out of the rough might help him. Ball releases up this hill. Yeah, that’s fine. Here comes Scotty. One fairway, four greens. He’s two under. But it make life a lot easier playing on the short grass. He’s going to tracing by Top Tracer. Brought to you in partnership with Rolex. Sheffller with a beautiful approach. That would be a puck up the hill. Back to Scotty. Pretty much straight up the hill from 20 ft. Had the pace but was just fractionally off on the read. And so he’ll remain four under. Good front nine though. Just keep it out of that fairway bunker. You’d love to squeeze it down the left though. It gives you the best angle. This one is going left. I know this is really close. I don’t think you’d want a chance getting in that bunker, but you do want to fit it down the left side. Give yourself the right angle to this whole location. Not too dissimilar from Yeah, you had to scoot it down there pretty far. Yeah, that’s perfect right there. I think all the way in this top level, the slope starts about 2 yards short of this whole location. And he bounced it. Did it stay there? Okay, well done. Oh, so That’s frustration you rarely see or hear from Shuffler. Dog leg hole right to left. Let’s go see. All right. That’s a good spot. Definitely left. And that is way left. Actually in between those bunkers, Andy. Yeah, that’s very unlocky. should stop pretty quickly going back up the hill. Almost looked like he hit the ground before he made crisp contact. Okay, Andy, does that make up for it? I think a little bit. It never makes up completely. They’ll have a chance. They’re just going to need to put their foot on the gas to 12. And Sheffller’s T- shot. [Applause] He finds the fairway at 12. It’s the hardest one to find today. A very generous course with their fairways. Pin high would be perfect. This carries over the flag stick. That’s going to come back down. Gravity’s going to help him out here a little bit. Sure is. Andy, [Applause] this is really, really difficult to judge how much it’s going to break right to left and what the speed’s going to be. It’s really been a whole location today on 12. Now Scotty going back up the hill. You can take this one with a little bit more speed to it. In for Paul remaining at four under. Keep an eye on Sheffler now with the scoring opportunities coming up in two of the next three holes. Anything 15 20 ft left of this hole would be perfect. Do not miss it to the right. Two four. This is headed well left. He is all out of sync today. It’s a great way to describe it. Just out of sync and out of sorts and he’s got a lot of green to work with, but it is really fast. And that’s a good 12 ft short down the hill. Sliding just a little bit to his right. Nope. Out of sorts, out of sink. And he’ll bogey this hole if he can knock that in. [Applause] Wayward T-shot. [Applause] Wow. [Applause] Going right into the same bunker. 20 ft or so short of the hole. Just let it release down there. It’s fairly quick going this way. Green does run away from him right there. Sort of like that, man. Good call, Andy. Great shot by Scotty Shepard. Sets the bar pretty high for the three that are in that bunker. taking advantage of one of the scoring holes out here. Sheffer and Maroy both make threes. This one’s sliding with the left to right wind toward the right edge of the fairway. Right into the bunkers. Scotty Chef going to lay it up out of this bunker. 15. Andy, he’s only hit four out of 12 fairways. It’s been an amazing day. Scotty’s third. That’s world class stuff. Just what you think. See if you can take this advantage of that shot. Number one in the world is now within three of the lead. Don’t think for one moment they don’t know. Three for three. Matt remember what happened yesterday. Andy with tracing by Top Tracer. Brought to you in partnership with Rolex. Well, that was more like Scotty Sheffling. That’s a stark difference from yesterday. Clean ball, clean shot, clean birdie attempt for Scotty. Just straight up the hill. It’s all about hitting it firmly enough to move to six under. Never hit it. Xander tapped in for par. Now Sheffller, you know, we wondered how good Vegas is 8 under would still be at this point in the afternoon. And he still sits two shot clear. [Music] Absolutely perfect. One of the best shots we’ve seen. I think Andy could you could sort of see that coming after the swing he made last hole. Through all of this, he can get to within two of the lead. Oh man. Punch too firm. [Music] I I did not see that coming from those two. Can you put the missed putts on the last hole out of your head on this T-shot? You better. Certainly looks like the answer for Scotty is yes. Scotty looks like he’s found a little something here in the last few holes. We’re back. World number one. Scotty Shuffler from the fairway on 18. Yeah. One fit 68. You’d think anything will pass the hole to the right. Sort of like that. That is pretty darn well played. Yeah, guys. I think he might have found something. Sure seems that way. 6968 for Scotty Sheffller. And this is the seventh time that he’s in the top five through 36 holes in a major since 2022. center cut T- shot too. His approach into this opening hole that from 219 back into the win playing every bit of 235. A little pull here, Colt. We’ve seen a lot of that lately from him. Left is better than right. But um this right now is the track we’re concerned about. Quail hollow over at one. Rascal Flats by the way accompanying that piece. So well is the pitch by Sheffford runs out about 18 ft. Got to be defensive here. Straight downhill down grain. He sure was defensive. Par putt never had enough. Doesn’t even scare the hole. No, these conditions are going to get the greens a little crustier and a little shinier and guys are more than likely going to be a little more timid. Bogey as well for Sheffler. Little bit of right to left break in it. Scotty Sheriff, world number one. Tied for the lead. [Applause] Fox tapped in for Birdie. Oh, was that cutting too much? Oh, this is way right. Needs to get lucky. I I think it caught a tree, Cole. It did. It spit back out in the fairway. There it is. Just short of the bunker. How’s the two breaks he got and Ryan Fox got here at eight? Was good. Eight. Can he take advantage, Colton? Second hole in a row. He’s got a great break. He normally makes these look pretty easy. Not bad. And Cole just like Sews just dove off to the right. They just don’t see it. Yeah, this eighth green is tricky. Up on that little back shelf. Remains tied at seven with Siru and Vegas back on the T. With this hard off the left, not the easiest T- shot when you like to fade it. No, he’s got to take it up into the trees and then let the wind hit it. Okay, just caught the fairway. That’s six on from 214. It’s on a nice line. Sounded nice, too. Birdie putt coming up. He’s just patiently picking this golf course apart. This for the lead outright. Seven greens in these conditions is pretty impressive. Yeah, it sure is. Wind gusting all over the place. That’s what I said at the top of the show. Nobody has control with the irons like Sheffller. Andrew just an absolutely striped T-shot from Scotty Shepler right down the middle. No Eagles at the 10th hole so far today. Meanwhile, up ahead, chance to strike at 10. Shepler second. 263 to the front. He’s hammered this right at it. Is it enough? It’s going to come up just short and then roll to the right. That’s a popular spot today at the 10th. Playing 606. That came out with so much spin on it. Brilliant. [Music] Great shot by Sheffller. All right, back at 10. Sheffller for the outright lead. Very similar putt to what he had yesterday. Wow. Shuffler misses left. It should be alarming for the field that he’s barely top 50 in putting and he’s tied for the lead. [Applause] The ball as he powered through it. Now Scotty moment ago. That’s a big pull. Ian needs to miss the trees. It did miss the trees. Colt just nestled down in that left rough puts it in as we go to 11 and second for Scotty Sheffller. Horrible eye. I don’t think he can get this all the way to the greeny end. Just trying to get something up in front. One of the harder holds all day, Colton. That’s all he could really do. One and he’ll play this totally different than he did at 11 on the back foot using that leading edge. really runs away back there. It sure does. It’s so easy to get past that hole that will not stop. Nobody stepped up. Yeah, he’s coming back up the hill here. Moving to his right. Tough to get it all the way there. Damage done from the T. Missed the fairway. Couldn’t control the second. And another bogey. Tiny ribbon fairway here at 12. I love this T- shot, Jim. Trees just frame it beautifully. This hole just got a lot easier from there. Yeah, for sure. He’s going to love that T- shot right there. Not an easy fairway to hit. About half the time players are finding the short cross. So that’s a beauty there for shot for Ron Demora. Very impressive. Over a 12. Here’s Scotty. Just a sand wedge left and he’s taking this left of the hole trying to use the slope. I bet he thought that might even trickle down a little bit more. But still, it’s a close-range birdie attempt coming up for Scotty and recovered the stroke lost on the previous hole. You couldn’t ask for a better look. Just barely outside the right. That’s the look right there all the way back. Burning time for Scotty Shuffler. 196 and downwind. How do you get this close, Frank? It’s hard. It’s like a brick wall of a par three. And that has been a popular miss. No water like 17, but this hole has played difficult today. Now 13 bunker shot for Sheffler. Five times he’s got it up and down out of six. This is going to test his skills here, Frank. Oh, that’s got to be easy. There’s a slope over there. That’s tricky part, too. Colt Scotty for Pal. You mentioned a tough punt. Very fast and breaking hard to his left. That’s not dead yet. G is full attention. So, shot dropped. It’s Scotty Shuffler at 14. 3-wood on the way. Oh, baby. Be as good as you look. Oh my goodness. Look at this. That for the outright lead. That’s an eagle and quail. And Shuffler sends shock waves around this PGA Championship layout. But he is back to a tie for the lead with an Eagle at the 14th. [Applause] [Music] Seems to like it and just in the fairway there. Oh, he’s launched this way up there. Wow. And this is headed at the right side of the green. And a similar spot to SEO. Jim mentioned Scotty made eagle here back in the opening round. Only one Eagle today. Awkward little angle. Has to fly it up on top. Get it to check. That’s going to be a nasty little putt. Andrew have a chance to get to nine under. This one from a similar distance on 10 at the par five. Can Sheffller grab the outright lead for Birdie? Sheer at nine under. Textbook Eagle Birdie on 14 and 15. Three. [Applause] Crowd getting hyped to see the world number one. [Music] Whenever you’re ready. This one is flirting with that bunker. Oh wow, that was fortunate. Golfers never forget. This is just barely left of it. Gorgeous pass at it. Green Miles playing about a shot over P. Pulled it up against that right to left wind. just hit the same shot he did on the last. Great. [Applause] Right at the center of the green. Beautifully done. Exactly where he wanted it. Middle of the green. And perfect. It is Scotty Sheffller to 10 under par. He leads the PGA Championship by two. I mean, this is just a clinic. Fairway. That’s an eight iron on the way. All over it. If it’s a number, it’s the number. Gorgeous shot by Sheffler. He’s got it all. The divot didn’t matter one bit. It’s a Sheffler showcase performance. Scotty’s thinking what green mile. Five under the last five holes for the world number one. Get his place reestablished coming off a seven win year on the tour of last season. Oh, absolutely. And an Olympic gold medal performance with a Sunday that will never be forgotten. Oh, yeah. He’s he’s heard all the chatter and you can see it from this reaction right here. Colt referenced earlier. This guy is uber competitive. Love to know what he was saying right there is out to achieve right now. [Applause] Wind the same direction as yesterday. This starts right center. Cutting a touch and low. Needs to go a little and does. [Music] [Music] extremely high at the left edge of the green to start. No, just unhitable. Be an easy. Not as good as what I thought. Okay, that first hole. A brute [Applause] big wide stance. Great extension. High hands. Shoulder turn matches the width. Got a couple good bounces yesterday. He did. He hated the strike. Immediately the one arm comes off. Something didn’t quite hit in about six or seven of them yesterday. Now, Scotty, [Music] that’s from 86 yds. Chance to turn the tie to take advantage of this good break. Well done. No issue with the footing there on the score. Off that view. Love that puck. Scotty Sheffler. Bogey birdie. First two holes. What a bounce back. Not an easy putt. You can see there. That’s a good 15 to 18 in outside. He makes it look so easy. Ry’s been through a lot with all his students over the years. Randy said he’ll take a tranquilizer and he’s just nervous because that’s Ry’s way of doing things. Well, that was a dot that one. That’ll help. That birdie helped too. I’ll bet. Yeah, I like that play. I think he’s going to hit a good one in here. [Music] Sensible shots at reasonable targets. That’s the Scotty way. This is a bad swing. This is a real bad swing. Kind of similar to the first. Scotty Sheffler 11 under par a fourshot lead but a lot had a poor bunker shot Donnie at the opening hole. [Music] I think that’s all about to change Frank. Oh, look at that. I thought it could be a potential two-shot swing here instead. One more look how close this goes. I mean, right at the end, it made like a huge break down to the cup. Watch this. The breeze up, didn’t it? Got a good break actually off the off the t-shirt. That’s exactly right. He has multiple times this week. And now here after the poor iron Yeah, big ball. Lerting left. 118 front 130 hold. Raiders. Oh my boy. Touch them all. [Music] You’re not kidding. Catch the down slope. Decent amount of break to the right. Oh, that was pretty stubby. Didn’t even fly it to the green, Donnie. Yeah, I needed double that flight and maybe a touch for Park. be just like him to make it. Yes, he is in the hole for four. Take a look at this. This is not an easy putt downhill. Probably two feet a [Music] break right in the heart. Looked like bogey all the [Applause] way. Another pull. Yep. Left and staying left. Trevor. Better than missing right stays out of the bunker and gets a great break cuz it kicked out of the long stuff. Amanda, thank you. Back at the sixth and the second for Sheffller. Missed it in a great place. Able to pitch back up the hill and comes up short again. Another par tester for Sheffler on the way. Been getting better and better as these little weeks have gone on. Trying to keep that momentum here. He’s going to drop a shot. Interesting backstroke there. Seemed to take it back outside and that ball started left and broke left. [Applause] Andrew head went a little outside. Caught it a touch out of the heel. And now Chevup. He’s had a few left misses. Wind wins out of the right. Trouble right. He has found that bunker down the left this week previously. The driver is not behaving. [Music] Little walk through. Very well done. [Music] [Applause] management left of the hole. It becomes like a bathtub. Everything wants to go down there toward the hole like this. It’s going to get better. Keep going. Come on. Oh, defy gravity. You can’t stick there. Maybe they’ve got a crystal ball. Give me the hole. It’s not exactly a convincing first seven holes. Yeah. And if somebody finishes the way he finished yesterday and does it to him if you’re going to win a major championship and this is a tough golf course. Here he is. That’s just a bigger version of the Nor shot. Yeah. He didn’t want to cut it too much, did he? Well, how many shots to the left does he hit today? Five that I can think of. Yeah. Or him two. Yep. Just two steps off the green. And he played right of them. It would stay up on that shelf. Yeah, he played that safe. Could not go up the hole. Good speed, but not to beat. Remains one over on the round. Still a three-shot lead. Winning a major championship is not easy. Courses are tough and the pressure is immense. [Applause] this one 15 times on tour. Now back to nine with our leader. Another one. Yeah. Left rough. So that’s now eight shots. First nine holes just midway through this round. He within two. What does he do with this dilemma? He was just trying to see that golf ball. Just a pitching wedge. What a horrible lie. Fairly low. Needs to check. Didn’t check. Got beyond the hole into that down slope. Feeds off there too. [Applause] [Music] Well, he had it if he hit it. But that’s going to be a two overpar side once he taps that one in. He’s going to clean that off. Well, six through nine. That at the very least seven and eight are getable. Six through nine. He’s going to be two over for that stretch of holes. Again, the T- shots on seven and eight. chance to make birdie ruin with the with the reps where he has made par all three days. Time to get back to the X’s and O’s. And this is a fine looking start. Big hole for Sheffller. Third easiest hole today. Andrew, I think he needs to get this riding the wind to get it there. He’s trying. Is it going to get up there? It’s going to leak off to the left and goes into the bunker. Like you said, back part of the bunker, but they’re prepared so consistently. Should not be an issue. There’s another one that squirted out right on. Yeah. Really weak. He’s hitting the sand too early. I believe he catches it heavy. Yeah. and pops out to the right back on top. 510. Really muted reaction here though. And I’ve seen him miss a bunch of right to left his load, but reads that to perfection. One fairway he missed yesterday. Looked more rhythmical. Yeah. 10 and 11 just hyped. Uh just gave it time to gather up and deliver. Oh yeah. be the number. Great work. He controls that distance so well and that is a perfect shot from where he was. Hold your head up. Another one. A little low left. Couple he’s missed. Low left on the right to lefters. [Applause] as prescribed right here. I think we had a little corrective talk on the way to the 10th T. Whatever he did is working. Same club choice. Ideally, a touch left and spin it down the slope to the hole. He’s coming in from that left side. [Applause] air is getting thin out there. Jim seven iron six yds long to mess with that shot’s coming back, isn’t it? simple enough to grip. Set up swing. Needs some room to move left. Needs some ice. [Applause] With the draw here yesterday, left to right wind. This feels a touch more down and to the right. Yesterday knocked it three feet made eagle. It rolls out into the bunker at 14. Stepping right in quickly. Doy need cleaner contact than we had on the first couple. Oh, look at the saddle. Much better. It’s just really crispy around that hole. Sure is. It is getting shiny around that hole. It’s full team now. Big one here for a little cushion. Sheffler for birdie at 14. Yes, Scotty Sheffler now two in front with four to play. [Applause] And that’s going to be just fine to start the 15th here for Sheffler remaining. believe this is 3-wood hoisted. Come on. Oh yeah, what a shot. It won’t stay on the green, but still Sheffler in great position at the 15th. Almost the same exact spot that Rahm was just in. Three shot lead with putter just like Rahm. Pretty well managed there. Andrew eliminated the big mistake in a crucial time. Such a smart play by Sheffller. 15 Sheffller and they can get that waker engraver to move a little bit. [Music] Hit it. Hit it. Bounce is good, but it’s bunkered. It’s a great great comparison, by the way, with the 2019 rules changes. He could do what he just did. No worries there. Super smart shot. Exactly what he needed right there. [Music] Not quite a gimme. Next best thing. It’s getting closer. Great fall. That is exactly where it started and stayed. Don’t tell why would you hit it anywhere else? Absolutely totally understandable. Almost there. Anywhere on the green is probably a pull. I would look for this just a little short of the hole, but he’s gone right at it. Not this guy. So wonderful shot from the slight down slope. He just regardless of the situation 17 for par to retain that six shot advantage and he makes it well in Charlotte North Carolina. It’s the home of NASCAR and Scotty Sheffler just has one lap to go. [Music] Doing what the great ones do. Got the lean going though and it’s heading toward those buckers. He’s blown it over. I wouldn’t expect to see a hero shot from here. There’s just no reason to take that risk. And there’s your pitch out. [Applause] So smart. What you would expect. Remember Justin Thomas made five here when he won in 2017. Too just a train killer when it comes to golf winning. His third 137. Oh yes. That’s the way to do it with style. [Music] No matter. It’ll just make the final margin [Applause] five. Scotty Sheffler wins in a runaway in the showdown at Charlotte. Well done. Well [Music] done. Heat. Heat.

  1. I thought for sure that this channel heard the voices of the people from before and would make good changes lile adding the scorecard — no. They cant humble themselves. Do they really think that im more likely to watch it on TV when i see how awful the youtube coverage is? What do their marketing statistics say i wonder?? Is the profit-margin even worth it when considering consumer happiness?

  2. People here complaining about having every shot from the winner. Whereas for most of my life we were lucky to get a few shots of the final round on Sports Center. Incredible

  3. Looks like nobody from LIV golf can beat Scottie! Pity LIV golf cannot win him over. Wonder what kind of money would they have to fork out to get him to join? Got to be way higher than Rahm or DeChambeau!

  4. Just thinking about this compared to Rory winning the Wells Fargo last year. That last round last year, Rory displayed some of the best driving I’ve ever seen. Carried every fairway bunker and hit some amazing long drives. Scotty here, in a major, hit the ball left pretty much every day. Flew or bounced it into ever single fairway bunker it seemed. But the guy has something special about him. Apart from the obvious physical talent, his mental ability to be able to forget the last shot, even though he’s a firey sort of character, to me is far more impressive to watch. And all though it’s not generally seen as relatable, being able to play this way seems more relatable than Rory. In the sense I mean that if you can control your emotions, you can play great golf for your level. You don’t have to be generational with the physicality like Rory.

  5. It is annoying that there is no real-time score on the screen. Viewership would increase a lot with the score info.
