Keith, that’s an absolute beauty of a round of seven underpar. How would you rate that one out of 10? Yeah, that was that was very enjoyable. I would give it an eight out of 10, I would say. Yeah, a little bit of a wobble in the middle of the round. Otherwise, I hit the ball really well today. Um, drove the ball well. And I think on this golf course, if you drive the ball well, it does feel a little bit easier. If you’re out of position, it’s a real tough course with the greens being hard. But today I I drove the ball well, so I had a lot of wedges and took advantage of the par fives. A good day overall. Two eagles on the card is always special. First of all, talk us through the one on the fifth. Yeah, I hit two perfect golf shots and then I had a driver and a four iron to about two foot. Um yeah, I just I’d actually had that second shot in both times and hit it in the bunker. So I learned my lesson, changed my line a little bit and hit a four iron to Yeah, just left to the hole. And then on number 17, I hit a a seven iron in there that needed everything I had to just carry the bunker cuz the pin was just over the trap. And um yeah, worked out perfectly. These conditions are absolutely spectacular. What’s the challenge of the course out there? Is it it’s starting to dry out? Yeah, definitely. You know, I think, you know, for us coming from Africa, having warm weather is a huge help for us as well. Um but yes, the fairways are are hard to hit because they’re not that wide. They’ve come a little bit harder. You know, they sort of got a clay under base. So the ball’s running a long way, so to hold them is tough. And the greens are also getting quite firm out there as well. So if you’re out of position, it’s hard to keep them on the greens. Is the layout here at Mount Juliet one that suited your eye as soon as you got here? I think so. Yes. I like it. I think it’s tough as well. It plays quite long. I think it’s down to really good driving, which I, you know, which I think is one of my strengths. And all the par fives I can reach, which is always, you know, sort of a confidence boost when things are not going so well. you kind of hold out until you get to a par five. What do you do now to ensure that you keep this good run going into tomorrow? I think I’m going to go hit some golf balls. Now, I have made a few changes and I’ve been working really hard on my golf swing. Today, everything clicked in nicely, but it’s not 100% there. So, um you know, I’ll just try and concentrate on the stuff I’ve been working on and try and get a little bit more grooved and see what happens tomorrow. Bit more than work today. Well played. Good luck tomorrow. Yeah. Thanks very much, kid.
