Yesterday’s MLB action was a whirlwind of offensive explosions, pitching gems, and dramatic finishes across multiple matchups. The Angels, despite missing Mike Trout, unleashed a home run barrage against the A’s, with seven straight long balls, including a 470-foot shot by Logan O’Hoppe and two from Nicholas Jeffery Kurtz, while Zach Neto continued his MVP-caliber tear. In Toronto, the Blue Jays erupted for 14 runs after the fourth inning against the Padres, powered by Nathan Lucas’ homer, a grand slam from Daulton Varsho, and a dominant seven scoreless innings from Kevin Gausman. The Twins and Guardians split a doubleheader, with Kody Clemens delivering a walk-off for Minnesota in Game 1, while Cleveland capitalized on rainy conditions and Gavin Williams’ strong outing in Game 2. Detroit’s hot streak continued against the Cardinals, with Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson contributing key RBIs, despite Torkelson’s base-running blunders. The Royals outslugged the Giants, with Salvador Perez’s opposite-field homer and Heliot Ramos’ scorching bat standing out. The Dodgers edged the D-backs behind Corbin Burnes’ unhittable curveball and Teoscar HernĆ”ndez’s go-ahead blast, while the Yankees walked off the Rangers on Jasson DomĆnguez’s homer after a titanic Judge-deGrom showdown. The Mets topped the Red Sox with Brett Baty’s clutch hits and Francisco Lindor’s homer, and the Phillies overpowered the Rockies, led by Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto’s big nights. These games showcased a mix of young stars, veteran heroics, and critical moments that kept the playoff races tight.šŸ“

in today’s MLB recap the Yankees have some bigĀ
decisions to make now that John Carlos StantonĀ Ā  is almost back jason Amingas his bat has provenĀ
to be pretty dang good but his defense has beenĀ Ā  so bad we have some questions on whether or not heĀ
should stay out there or not on Sodo honestly heĀ Ā  might have had his most embarrassing performanceĀ
as a big leager it literally looked like he hadĀ Ā  never faced a tough lefty in his life bryce HarperĀ
has been CSN 17-year-old Bryce Harper ever sinceĀ Ā  he cut his hair and gave himself a buzz cut theĀ
same haircut that he had back when he was on theĀ Ā  cover of ESPN as the chosen one ally RichmondĀ
he’s a former firstrounder as well he finallyĀ Ā  got a hold of a baseball he had his first homeĀ
run in over a month he’s been really really badĀ Ā  since last year maybe this wakes him up dustin MayĀ
and Corbin Burns they were trading strikeout afterĀ Ā  strikeout shutout inning after shutout inningĀ
and Dalton Var show he’s already leading the JaysĀ Ā  in home runs even though he didn’t even play theĀ
first month of the season so we’ll talk about allĀ Ā  of that and more in today’s MLB recap we recapĀ
every single baseball game every single day soĀ Ā  grow the game of baseball with me leave a like andĀ
hit that subscribe button also don’t forget thatĀ Ā  Recap would be impossible to make without SeatGeekĀ
be sure to use Code Fuzzy to save 20 bucks off allĀ Ā  of your tickets recap is also brought to you byĀ
Underdog Fantasy be sure to download UnderdogĀ Ā  Fantasy to your phone and make sure you enter inĀ
Code Fuzzy don’t forget about that it’s super easyĀ Ā  all you have to do is choose higher or lower onĀ
players that you think are going to do well orĀ Ā  not it’s literally that simple download it todayĀ
and have some fun also Code Fuzzy gets you a lotĀ Ā  of free stuff i can’t believe I’m saying thisĀ
but the Mike Troutless Angels are on the vergeĀ Ā  of winning six in a row there was a full-blownĀ
home run derby in this one seven home runs in aĀ Ā  row the first one went further than any home runĀ
from anyone else this year not named Mike TroutĀ Ā  oh 12th home run went 470 ft trouty he went 484Ā
in the first week of the season here come the A’sĀ Ā  lawrence Butler he just reset the game he whackedĀ
a three-run home run to straightaway center fieldĀ Ā  zack Neto’s up now and he’s leaving everythingĀ
as well he’s got eight home runs and 145 OPSĀ Ā  plus logan with his second of the game this oneĀ
only I put that in air quotes went 431 ft joe heĀ Ā  made it backto back home runs joe Adele is veryĀ
much skating on thin ice he’s batting 190 withĀ Ā  an embarrassing 73 OPS plus nicholas JeffreyĀ
Curts I can get away saying his name when IĀ Ā  say it like that he also had 860 ft worth of homeĀ
runs he went way out in the fifth and then againĀ Ā  in the seventh he pimped this one as well he hasĀ
three home runs his last two games the Halo stillĀ Ā  took it they added a few more on non- home runsĀ
solair had two RBI doubles i think Ward had anĀ Ā  RBI single as well the Halos have won six gamesĀ
in a row they’re just five games back at firstĀ Ā  place while the A’s they’ve lost eight games inĀ
a row so the Angels they out of nowhere have twoĀ Ā  guys on pace for 45 plus home runs zack Neto isĀ
playing like he’s going to win an MVP one day theyĀ Ā  have three starting pitchers with a three and aĀ
half year rate or better if they get some bullpenĀ Ā  pieces and Mike Trout comes back playing likeĀ
90% of prime Mike Trout can they make a playoffĀ Ā  run let me know in the comments we kind of have aĀ
similar situation happening with the Blue Jays notĀ Ā  necessarily a bullpen issue like the Halos butĀ
they’re a team who has a lot of firepower butĀ Ā  they’re also under 500 they erupted for 14 runsĀ
after the fourth inning nathan Lucas he swattedĀ Ā  out his fourth home run a two-run shot and afterĀ
a botched play from Jake Cronorth Vlatty made itĀ Ā  four to nothing he just kind of flicked his wristĀ
with two strikes manny he usually makes this playĀ Ā  like the offbalance across the body throw acrossĀ
the diamond but they gave Springer the RBI infieldĀ Ā  single it is now seven to nothing jonathan ClausĀ
he laced a two-run double this kid has all theĀ Ā  talent in the world don’t forget that two yearsĀ
ago when he was in the minor league system for theĀ Ā  Mariners he had 20 home runs and 79 stolen basesĀ
i want to see him get going bo singled in anotherĀ Ā  and the Jays they reached double digits in grandĀ
fashion dalton Voel launched one past Jackson forĀ Ā  a grand slam he leads the Jays in home runs he’sĀ
only had 15 starts this year barger and ClementĀ Ā  got it to 14 on the day but we ain’t got time forĀ
that because Kevin Gosman he was prime GossmanĀ Ā  seven scoreless nine strikeouts no walks twiceĀ
this year he’s allowed six and then answered withĀ Ā  a six plus scoreless start that’s now back-to-backĀ
games that the Padres’s have been shut out theĀ Ā  Padres’s are now on a losing streak of five gamesĀ
and they’re 3-7 their last 10 the Padres’s areĀ Ā  not the only team who was soaring on top of theĀ
standings for a while and have now lost a lot ofĀ Ā  games in a row we’re going to skip to the fourthĀ
in this Guardians and Twins game because theĀ Ā  39-year-old Carlos Santana he really got a hold ofĀ
this one and look at the reaction from Joe Ryan heĀ Ā  dropped his glove and then gave Carlos a a golfĀ
clap he said “Okay GG Cody Clemens.” He grabbedĀ Ā  the lead right back nolan Jones tried to use theĀ
rain as a slip inside he couldn’t quite get thereĀ Ā  so it’s an RBI triple for Cody minnesota ended upĀ
with a 52 lead after Bader scored a few and theyĀ Ā  needed every one of those extra runs of supportĀ
because Durant he threw away any chance that JoeĀ Ā  Ryan had at a W nolan Jones laced it the other wayĀ
for an RBI single and Bo Naylor he peppered oneĀ Ā  off the wall to score so it’s 55 kate Smith he’sĀ
the real life Terminator he’s gonna for sure sendĀ Ā  this one to extras right right well after hittingĀ
Ty France and then giving up a base knock to JonahĀ Ā  Bride Roger Sun did it again cody Clemens is theĀ
hero again he walks it off in 17 games with theĀ Ā  Twins Cody Clemens has nine extra base hits 10Ā
RBI’s a 192 OPS plus it’s crazy what a change ofĀ Ā  scenery can do to a guy the Minnesota Twins handĀ
Cleveland their fifth straight loss game two ofĀ Ā  the double header this was way easier listen IĀ
can be a delusional Guardians fan sometimes butĀ Ā  at least I can be honest paddock he got hosed byĀ
the baseball gods and mother nature it was rainingĀ Ā  really good and that led to a few walks in theĀ
sixth inning paddock he was relieved for LouisĀ Ā  Varlin and we just saw another walk gabriel AriusĀ
he wins the eight or nine pitch at bat he walksĀ Ā  in a run nolan Jones he lifted a sack fly intoĀ
the rain it’s flatout crazy that they’re playingĀ Ā  this baseball game right now gavin Williams IĀ
guess he just got really lucky with the timingĀ Ā  because his six innings were a whole lot drier andĀ
he dominated because of it he had six strikeoutsĀ Ā  just two base hits he had one ear run so his RAĀ
is finally under four the 39year-old went at itĀ Ā  again carlos’s second of the day he has 330 careerĀ
home runs and he’s also four doubles away from 400Ā Ā  that’s a lot of extra base hits after a sack flyĀ
JRAM ripped his third base hit of the game to makeĀ Ā  it a four-run lead he’s batting .380 his lastĀ
18 games so the Guardians they snap their skidĀ Ā  they’re 26 and 22 which is good for fourth placeĀ
in the AL Central so no more making fun of FuzzyĀ Ā  and his Guardians for being in first place in aĀ
dumpster division the AL Central is really goodĀ Ā  this year i mean the Tigers have been insane theyĀ
just became the first team in baseball to 33 WsĀ Ā  the Tigers they went up one on a Riley Green sackĀ
fly tolson I guess thought he was Chandler SimpsonĀ Ā  or Ellie de la Cruz he got hosed trying to advanceĀ
to second base on the sack fly but at least heĀ Ā  made up for it tolson got bailed cuz Jordan WalkerĀ
he’s maybe never making this play ever in his lifeĀ Ā  he got there in time but he just couldn’t getĀ
leather on it torlson now has 13 doubles andĀ Ā  39 RBI’s but funny enough he got thrown out onĀ
the bases again after a Dylan Dingler RBI knockĀ Ā  torqulson wanted to save Dylan in the pickle butĀ
like he’s at third base he should have let DylanĀ Ā  get tagged out he was out by a mile javi heĀ
blistered another baseball he’s just two forĀ Ā  his last 22 so I’m just praying that he’s notĀ
falling back into the Tigers hobby that we sawĀ Ā  when he first signed either way the Tigers are 33Ā
and 17 that’s their best 50game start in 19 yearsĀ Ā  and then there’s the Kansas City Royals we’llĀ
talk about the Yankees and Dodgers games rightĀ Ā  after this do not go anywhere but yeah KansasĀ
City is on fire as well vinnie Pascantino andĀ Ā  Mikel Garcia they both singled in a run vinnie isĀ
nearing 30 RBI’s despite only hitting 220 which isĀ Ā  very similar to how he started last year and stillĀ
ended up with almost 100 RBI mike Garcia by theĀ Ā  way is still hitting way over 300 bobby he grabbedĀ
his first of two RBI on a sack fly they saw LoganĀ Ā  Webb as well as anyone today matt Chapman saw thisĀ
baseball pretty well that’s his ninth home runĀ Ā  bobby he got back to it his second RBI is a dunkerĀ
he fought off a crazy pitch and of course becauseĀ Ā  he’s Babu Jr he hustles in for two bases salvadorĀ
no way no over the big wall in right center inĀ Ā  San Francisco is insane for a righty that’s 276Ā
career home runs which is the fifth most everĀ Ā  by an AL catcher staying with catchers PatrickĀ
Bailey this is his first of the season he’s goingĀ Ā  to cartwheel i mean this he’s going to cartwheelĀ
into the Hall of Fame if he ever becomes a 100 opsĀ Ā  plus guy cuz he’s only 25 years old and he playsĀ
the best defense since Yari Molina i’ll keep onĀ Ā  saying that anyway the Royals ran it up to eightĀ
we’re just going to skip to this bomb from ElliotĀ Ā  Ramos the Giants lose but I do have to talk aboutĀ
Elliot being essentially Barry Bonds the last twoĀ Ā  weeks he’s batting .450 with four doubles fourĀ
home runs 14 RBI’s with a 508 on base his lastĀ Ā  14 games kansas City they used six pitchers toĀ
go nine they upped their record to 28 and 23Ā Ā  the Giants held off from 30 they’re 29 and 21 theĀ
Dodgers just won their 30th game so they could beĀ Ā  the second in baseball to 31 with a W over ArizonaĀ
corbin Burns was out of his mind though for atĀ Ā  least an hour and a half he even had a lead catelĀ
hit one halfway up the bleachers he has seven homeĀ Ā  runs remember he missed nearly a month corbin’sĀ
curveball was basically unhitable actually it wasĀ Ā  unhitable every strike out he had through fiveĀ
scoreless was on that rainbow pitch but now he’sĀ Ā  in big time trouble two are on with one out in theĀ
sixth that’s the first strike out on the fast ballĀ Ā  he doesn’t have 99 like he used to but 95 is stillĀ
plenty tioscar’s back he hasn’t really done muchĀ Ā  since coming back yes I am foreshadowing that’sĀ
one too many curve balls or it just didn’t curveĀ Ā  enough teao’s 10th is a go-ahead three-run bombĀ
he’s batting over 300 and Tanner Scott he lockedĀ Ā  in in this one tanner now has 10 saves the DodgersĀ
are 31 and 19 the Diamondbacks are falling they’reĀ Ā  26 and 24 which is still decent but before weĀ
move on I got to show some love to Dustin MayĀ Ā  eight punch he’s over six just the one home run toĀ
Catel but six innings eight strikeouts one walk isĀ Ā  really really impressive the velocity was up theĀ
sweeper was sweeping it looked like a he figuredĀ Ā  it out game i put that in air quotes let’s seeĀ
if he can maintain these mechanics going forwardĀ Ā  if you guys have never been jammed in baseballĀ
you won’t be able to understand the pain thatĀ Ā  Jonah was in so he tossed the ball into centerĀ
field during warm-ups he basically motioned toĀ Ā  the dugout like “Hey I cannot play right now.”Ā
Kevin UCL one time had his career hampered byĀ Ā  a jam shot i think it broke his hand so whenĀ
you get jammed it sends shock waves to yourĀ Ā  hand it hurts so much so he actually left withĀ
a compressed nerve anyway Vulpi he is flyingĀ Ā  around for a triple sam Hagerty could not readĀ
it well off the bat so that ball gets past himĀ Ā  vulpi he scores on the DJ ground out skipping toĀ
the fifth burger bombs are back he ties it thatĀ Ā  makes it a double double animal style with hisĀ
second home run this is in the seventh inning stĀ Ā  hagerty he he pimped one as well the broadcasterĀ
for the Yankees Michael K he jinxed Ian HamiltonĀ Ā  so bad literally yesterday he said that Ian’s beenĀ
the best at limiting slugging he’s now allowedĀ Ā  three home runs since that point deg Grom he’sĀ
out there fighting he wants seven but this is openĀ Ā  stance Bellinger which means prime Bellinger theĀ
hips and the barrel snap through the zone so muchĀ Ā  better his stats are insane 345 batting averageĀ
with 13 extra base hits 17 RBI’s and a 425 onĀ Ā  base since April 25th which is basically a monthĀ
of action judge he’s now three for three in hisĀ Ā  career versus Lou Jackson all have been singles byĀ
the way it’s a three-3 tie and there it goes theĀ Ā  Martian hit went into orbit for a walk-off homeĀ
run he’s been elite in the box the last two weeksĀ Ā  but the defense is still brutal in left fieldĀ
he has negative five outs above average he hasĀ Ā  a negative three DRS i only bring that up becauseĀ
now Trent Gisham he’s coming back down to earthĀ Ā  he’s not only scuffling in the box but he alsoĀ
has negative one outs above average and negativeĀ Ā  five DRS he’s also bottom 45% in speed so a lot ofĀ
baseballs have been dropping in center what do theĀ Ā  Yankees do with Jason Dominguez do they put himĀ
in center field and move Trent to left field alsoĀ Ā  Stanton according to Aaron Boon is in the endgameĀ
and air quotes like he’s going to be back reallyĀ Ā  soon what are the Yankees going to be doing withĀ
some of the roster decisions because Ben Rice he’sĀ Ā  been insane is he going to be a platoon DH orĀ
first baseman maybe he’s going to be the thirdĀ Ā  option at catcher i don’t know exactly how they’reĀ
going to make room for all of these guys jazz isĀ Ā  almost back as well and again let me know inĀ
the comments what should the Yankees do withĀ Ā  the Martian because his defense and left field isĀ
awful boon says that he should be able to developĀ Ā  as a good left fielder but center field is hisĀ
main position trent he’s struggling what do theyĀ Ā  do also one more highlight from that game this wasĀ
crazy if there was a world where only Titans wereĀ Ā  allowed to live this would be an at bat on thatĀ
planet deg Grom and Judge they had a nine pitchĀ Ā  at bat degro was throwing absolute cheddar 99Ā
99 Judge was fighting it off he was laying offĀ Ā  sliders judge just missed it he’s smiling atĀ
Deg Grom because he knows he just missed it andĀ Ā  Deg Grom he breathed a sigh of relief that wasĀ
really fun bryce Harper had himself a fun nightĀ Ā  but we’ll get to that after this easy Mets andĀ
socks game juan Sto like I said in the intro itĀ Ā  literally looked like he had never faced a toughĀ
lefty in his life he took three strikes withoutĀ Ā  attempting one swing and he did that twice versusĀ
Garrett Crochce brett Batty he clutched up with aĀ Ā  lefty single one score is easy what a throw andĀ
tag from Sadon and Carlos Narvas to team up forĀ Ā  the out remember I was talking about Sodto hadĀ
two embarrassing at bats look at this at bat heĀ Ā  has yet to swing he has two strikeouts alreadyĀ
versus Crochet hasar Brazzle I think I said thatĀ Ā  right i mean this guy’s been ridiculous this yearĀ
he gets the Mets out of a base to jam he strikesĀ Ā  out Alex Bregman he had four strikeouts in twoĀ
and a third he has 30 strikeouts in 30 inningsĀ Ā  he has a sub one a ner on the season sodto he’sĀ
down again his third strikeout in as many at batsĀ Ā  and I can say with confidence this was probablyĀ
the dumbest Otto has felt ever in a big leagueĀ Ā  game i He’s even had a four strikeout game butĀ
he looked dumber in this one garrett he’s afterĀ Ā  85 pitches he wasn’t happy but Boston they wantĀ
to be careful with his arm brett give the kid aĀ Ā  three RBI day another lefty lefty base hit heĀ
is fired up as I’ve ever seen him wanoto he’sĀ Ā  up with the bases loaded he’s watching it againĀ
i don’t think that it’s not leaving it’s a sackĀ Ā  fly but obviously the bases were juo i mean it’sĀ
not like he had to hustle out the box this nextĀ Ā  one is a big fly lindor has 10 home runs becauseĀ
of course he does he’s a perennial all-star he’sĀ Ā  going to make the Hall of Fame that was the MetsĀ
first home run in six games they went easy 5-1Ā Ā  over Boston oh here we go here we go trey TurnerĀ
and Bryce Harper went back to back trey only hasĀ Ā  three home runs on the season but he’s sittingĀ
310 with 11 stolen bases and according to outsĀ Ā  above average he has one outs above average whichĀ
means that the defense is a little bit better soĀ Ā  he’s still very very good even without the crazyĀ
pop bryce Harper has eight home runs now he’s beenĀ Ā  hitting like Jo Bandit CN chosen one Bryce HarperĀ
this month he’s batting .371 with 15 RBI’s a 431Ā Ā  on base his last 16 games he’s been a maniacĀ
since shaving his head jtuto he had a big gameĀ Ā  his biggest in a while he doubled to the gap toĀ
score two the relays late nick scored from firstĀ Ā  base the other Nick hit a home run uh this is NickĀ
Martini by the way it bounced off the top of theĀ Ā  wall i had to show that for my Rocky’s brothersĀ
and sisters but yeah JT Ramuto his third base hitĀ Ā  gives him four RBI’s oh actually I guess it’sĀ
three RBI’s because they said Costiano scoredĀ Ā  earlier on an error so it’s only a three RBI dayĀ
but still three hits three RBI’s from your catcherĀ Ā  is insane let alone a defensive wizard catcher theĀ
Rockies made it a tiny bit closer with two runs inĀ Ā  the ninth they fall to an epic 8 and 40 record theĀ
Phillies they’ve won six games in a row they’reĀ Ā  tied with the Dodgers for the second best recordĀ
in baseball the Phillies are top five in offenseĀ Ā  as a lineup and they have the most strikeoutsĀ
as a pitching staff imagine if Aaron gets goingĀ Ā  they’re going to be so good they’re already reallyĀ
good baltimore cannot lose this game it’ll be nineĀ Ā  losses in a row if they Oh god reese he put hisĀ
team up a run he’s hitting over 300 on the seasonĀ Ā  with seven home runs and a 402 on base the OriolesĀ
they answered thank God cedric he lofted a sackĀ Ā  fly to tie and H he sliced one to left field ohĀ
he got on his horse and he is safe at home theyĀ Ā  finally have a lead going into the ninth inningĀ
the mountain Felix Bautista he’s towing the rupĀ Ā  no way no chance he just walked two there are twoĀ
on two out we have two strikes caleb Durban theĀ Ā  rookie forces extras he got one to fall safelyĀ
jackson Holiday he actually loved the whole thingĀ Ā  of going to extras because his hit streak was doneĀ
now he gets another at bat he has an eightgame hitĀ Ā  streak thanks to the extra innings the BaltimoreĀ
Orioles are back in front and oh my this thisĀ Ā  is the equivalent of the gates of heaven openingĀ
for Baltimore fans alli Rutman a three-run taterĀ Ā  his first home run in over a month in 25 gamesĀ
sir Anthony Dominguez he ends it with a strikeĀ Ā  out to Ericos the losing streak is over maybeĀ
win streak time maybe possibly number 81 forĀ Ā  Eachok Pedes no not of the season all 81 careerĀ
home runs have been pulled to left field by theĀ Ā  way he’s doing all this damage against his formerĀ
team the team that traded them away last year hisĀ Ā  old team they stole both of those runs back andĀ
then some aronda and Simpson they tied it withĀ Ā  RBI singles so it’s 2-2 curtis Me goodbye baseballĀ
actually just waved first kind of implosion forĀ Ā  the diesel hunter Brown all year me left the yardĀ
and so did the five tool star Josh Low at least heĀ Ā  can be a five tool start when he’s healthy don’tĀ
forget that Josh Low had 33 doubles 20 home runsĀ Ā  32 stolen bases and three defensive runs backĀ
in 2023 now it’s Brandon Laauo’s turn this isĀ Ā  the most impossible home run I’ve ever seen it hadĀ
an expected batting average of 0.01 even Hunter isĀ Ā  like “What the freak am I supposed to do with thatĀ
baseball is absolutely flying this ballpark.” EvenĀ Ā  this next home run had an expected batting averageĀ
of 200 so Mauricio Dubon homers each had anotherĀ Ā  he’s up to 10 home runs all 82 have gone to leftĀ
field for his career we have a fun ejection itĀ Ā  didn’t really make any sense because Yiner theyĀ
said he got hit by a pitch maybe and then KevinĀ Ā  Cash he’s arguing that it hit Yiner but because heĀ
swung it should be strike three he got tossed forĀ Ā  nothing they literally called Yiner D is out soĀ
yeah Kevin Cash is gone even though he was rightĀ Ā  yandi he had his manager’s back he goes 435 ftĀ
off the batter’s eye for a three-run home runĀ Ā  the Rays have won two games in a row kyle TuckerĀ
joined the Cubs and he said “Bring me my money.”Ā Ā  Kyle Tucker has gone deep in back-to-back gamesĀ
he has 12 home runs he has 35 home runs 25 stolenĀ Ā  bases and a 175 OPS plus his last 128 games thatĀ
is insane production matt Shaw he made a crazyĀ Ā  pick but he could not complete the throw acrossĀ
the diamond to save the lead conor Norby getsĀ Ā  the RBI kate Horton the rookie he’s been highlyĀ
tired for as long as I can remember he was nastyĀ Ā  in this one he had backto-back strikeouts inĀ
the fourth max Meer he was really good as wellĀ Ā  pca man that’s a tough double play he then gotĀ
BCH a tap out so it’s six innings one earn run forĀ Ā  Max Meyer kate Horton by the way only allowed oneĀ
as well this This is how Miami lost kyle Sters aĀ Ā  error now Tucker’s third base hit did kind of tailĀ
away with the spin the runner was held up and theĀ Ā  only reason why he scores is because of that errorĀ
sters showed what could have happened if he didĀ Ā  field that baseball literally a few moments laterĀ
he got some redemption i think that’s the fastestĀ Ā  outfield assist of anyone 98.1 mph on a line bushĀ
was out by 10 ft daniel Palencia he had a one twoĀ Ā  three ninth for his first save of the year theĀ
Cubs they get their 30th W leadoff walks kidsĀ Ā  remember this leadoff walks will always buy youĀ
always jrod he just showed that with a three-runĀ Ā  long ball after two straight walks from ShaneĀ
Smith jrod is having such a weird season becauseĀ Ā  he has one multi-hit game the last few weeks soĀ
the batting average stinks but he has 11 RBI’sĀ Ā  his last 11 games tim Elco man this ball wasĀ
destroyed that’s the rookie’s third home runĀ Ā  lenin Sosa now has four home runs i cannot tellĀ
for the life of me if Lenin Sosa is good or notĀ Ā  josh Palasios we got to put the perfect perfectĀ
sound on this one back-to-back home runs for theĀ Ā  White Socks palasios has always had awesome exitĀ
velocities and he’s finally getting some dailyĀ Ā  reps so maybe he breaks out soon i don’t knowĀ
cal this game is insane we are tied at four onĀ Ā  Cal Raleigh 16th of the season chicago they stoleĀ
the lead back rookie Chase Midroth drove in theĀ Ā  rookie Tim Elco mroth is hitting 301 with a 381Ā
on base cuz he walks a ton and he never whiffsĀ Ā  he also has three outs above average so don’tĀ
let that play off his noggin a few weeks agoĀ Ā  fool you he’s really good at defense leo RevasĀ
singled in the eighth inning so he’s on for theĀ Ā  struggling Leody and yes I’m doing it again moreĀ
foreshadowing the Mariners are now up leody heĀ Ā  wins it his first as a Mariner gives Senior SmokeĀ
a lead and of course Andres Munoz nails it downĀ Ā  he has 16 saves still a zero RA the MarinersĀ
are 29 and 20 the White Socks they’re 15 andĀ Ā  35 so at least they’re not as bad as the RockiesĀ
this one’s not a game-winning home run but it isĀ Ā  a game-winning RBI single the former first overallĀ
pick Henry Davis got the rare start and he rippedĀ Ā  one through the hole he’s batting 191 with aĀ
61 OPS plus for his career so he’s shaping upĀ Ā  to be one of the worst first overall picks everĀ
so any production from him is awesome to see twoĀ Ā  runs were all that Andrew Heene and his bullpenĀ
needed but I do want to show some web gems fromĀ Ā  the Cincinnati outfield tj Fredo he got on hisĀ
horse he made a terrific grab at the wall and thenĀ Ā  Reese Hines made two web gems the second one wasĀ
kind of a little unnecessary reminded me of who’sĀ Ā  that one dude Perfect like the Dude Perfect tryardĀ
guy i don’t think he needed that grab but I’llĀ Ā  give him the title of web gem the Pirates addedĀ

  1. The Stanton question is probably going to be solved by platooning. Stanton obliterates lefties and Rice is very bad against them so expect that a lot.

  2. The Tigers lost the first three games of this season to Los Angeles dodgers and yet they have the best record in the league

  3. That's not good news for the rangers, Jonah could possibly be out a few weeks or several months if it's really bad. Compressed nerves are no joke appearently.

  4. The Martian has played his entire pro career in centerfield. Now he's a bad left fielder. I wish I could think of a way to try to solve that problem.

  5. I don’t care if it’s his first season for them, the Mets need to release Juan Soto and cut their losses

  6. Nolan Jones sucks …first time in years when we can say we are in trouble and actually be serious…..

  7. Fuzzy, you gotta call out SD for their defence dude. It was some little league sh*t. You always clown the White Sox when they fumble around, the Padres were just as awful yesterday

  8. Good problems to have if you’re the Yanks.. Gotta find a way to keep getting Rice At-Bats. Even LeMahieu hasn’t looked bad. Judge has monster numbers late in the clutch this year. Belli, Goldy, Fried look great.

  9. When you said Tucker has 35 stolen bases, I almost fell out of my seat. Then you said in his last 128 games & I calmed down a little lol..

  10. Of all the late game heroes Leody Taveras is not who i would've expected lol also why do I feel like I'm the only Mariners fan in Fuzzy's comments like every time

  11. The Angels just swept the A’s for their 7th game winning streak! On your next recap I bettah see you wear an Angels cap my Boy!! Take off that stupid Mariners cap!

  12. I think you keep playing Dominguez in the field, because he doesn't hurt you there enough to make his bat not worth it, and the DH slot is already overloaded. Maybe try him a few games in center, some guys just can't adjust to the different angles you need to take in left versus center. He has the speed to have elite range, his glove and arm aren't bad, he just takes bad routes and doesn't get a great jump. Maybe that improves if he's in his natural position.

I would make Rice the backup at Catcher, First and DH and get him in 4-5 games a week. I love the Escarra story, and I hope he gets more opportunities, but between him, Stanton and Rice, it is an easy choice who gets left out.

  13. Cmon Fuzzy… obviously you've never been "jammed" in your life cuz you obviously don't know what you're talking about.. a fist me jam shot and an end of the bat jobber are totally 2 seperate things.. in which case Heim's at bat was most likely a broken end of the bat jobber stinger.. which is even more intensified in cold weather

  14. stanton should not be elevated unless he is 100 percent…our dh spot is doing amazing…Rice is doing good, and Judge as a rest is nice….

  15. If you're reading the statcast on Dominguez's defense and not watching the games, you've got the wrong idea. His early struggles were apparent. But he's improved in leaps and bounds since then. It has not been brutal since the first couple weeks. He's not going to win any gold gloves any time soon, but he's not the liability he felt like early on. He's fine now. And he's learning and improving. I don't know what statcast's problem is, but it feels like a drama queen on this one.

  16. Yanks should trade for skenes, honestly at face value the rotation is a lot worse than it currently is, but it def could do better so if we can't find spots for all these players, an ace like Paul skenes would be a very nice trade
