I took a trip to a golf simulator to test out some of the top advice many of you have shared in the comments—slow down my backswing, loosen up (because I’ve been told I look stiff), and increase my rotation. I’ll admit, I didn’t master it all, but I gave it an honest try.
While I’m usually not a huge fan of simulators, a number of you requested swing metrics for each club, so I recorded every swing along with the data. My distances are down a bit—mainly due to focusing on slowing my tempo—but I’m pleased that I made solid contact and most shots stayed in play.
Before I go all-in on changing my swing, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Are there any red flags or small tweaks you’d recommend while I continue adjusting? I’m taking this learning journey one swing at a time and your feedback means a lot.
