Scottie is a gem
I think there’s a big problem with corporate standards being pushed on players in most sports which inhibits their personalities I like to watch Tiger because he is so concentrated and focused on winning that he ignores and even intimidates those around him which nowadays they are supposed to be politically correct with everything that they do I personally love fiery personas in sports cause they tend to portray that in the way they play their sport and their just isn’t much of that anymore
Idk what it is, but I watched golf as a kid, haven’t watched in years, but started watching this yr again
Youtube golf is actually better crazy to say
2011-2014 Rory was pretty much that guy-then Augusta back nine came and..we know how story went
I 've seen it coming at exhibition Rory&Scottie vs Brooks&Bryson, Rory polished his short game and puttung and was not even close. Putting was just so much better
Tiger actually had a very conservative approach to golf, he played very safe, calculating golf because he was so much better, he didn't need to take many risks. His celebrations were extravagant. Koepke, Johnston, Scheffler, Schauffle, Day, Thomas are just not interesting to watch. DeChambeau and Rory are exciting, attacking golfers. Simply, the majors are set up for safe, boring golf, by the club and committee members so their course doesn't look too tame before the viewing public.
egg paste
One problem is 3 Majors out of 4 are in the US. The lesser of the Majors is the PGA Championship so to add to its lustre and to expand golf, it should be held in different countries – can you imagine the hype in each country if it was held there ie Japan, Australia, Spain, South Africa etc.
“I think that tension has settled a little bit”
PGAT suspends Wesley Bryan for no reason
Too bad the guy is a massive prick
Aye-berg not Oh-berg.
Keep up the great videos! There isnt much golf content out there like you. Keep it up!
It was bad after Tiger was done in 2014 but it’s been great with Scottie as the best Tiger. Rory doesn’t move the needle for golf after the masters week. Scottie has made golf feel like it’s Tigers era again.
What I love about Bryson is, that brooksy phase could of ruined him and his career and at moments he maybe could of handled it better but the way he's turned it around.
No, golf isn't good atm. Not with them all divided and separate. The Masters is and was and will always be; good. The rest sadly doesn't hold up. Kinda wish the Masters was the last Major of the season.
I just started playing golf last year. So it was the middle of summer before I sat down and watched any of golf on TV. I was watching hoping to pick up some basics to help me, you know, not suck so much. I don't know what anybody means because I find golf to be very engrossing to watch live. Today stars have a lot of charisma and a lot of near perfection. I think it makes for good TV.
NOT until all the world's great golfers are able to compete against each other on a regular tour basis—-yes, the only time it got exciting to watch Tiger was when he was actually challenged.
Golf has never been bad, this is a stupid narrative. If you're actually into golf, you should love to see newer guys come up and start to win. We all know Tiger was not forever, but we're watching ALL the guys that he influenced and inspired to play golf. Rory is amazing and I love him, it's just another great story in the annals of golf history
Golf’s energy is definitely surging back strong!
In the UK, it was Covid that kick started the huge growth in golf. Golf and fishing was the only two sports allowed under the early rules. Resulting in thousands taking it up to get out with friends.
Min Lee Woo also is popular and won this year for the first time. And even poked fun at aim-point on a 1 footer for the win.
Dude, I don’t know what it is but I can actually watch your videos without putting it at 1.5x or 2x times lol
Outside of Murrica… the average person. we only know Tiger Woods
Scottie is just boring. Tiger was so energetic. He brought an aura to the game that nobody can match
As a European the 80s and 90s were a great time for golf. As a kid I loved Seve, Faldo, Langer, Olly, Woosey and Sandy Lyle. These guys shook it up took it to America and started winning majors across the pond. Asking if golf is actually good again depends on who u ask I still love it even tho the scene has changed but everyone has their favourite era.
Bryson DeChambeau da best
thanks for narrating these and not using AI
