I bought a £30 fairway wood from Temu… and I genuinely can’t believe what happened 😳

In my mission to build the best super budget golf set possible, I went searching for a cheap 3 wood or 5 wood with zero expectations. For just £30, I assumed this club would be terrible…

But when it arrived, there was a HUGE surprise.

This thing looks like a TaylorMade dupe… and even crazier, it performs almost the same as my £350 custom fitted fairway wood 🤯

Distance, forgiveness, ball flight… it was all shockingly good.

BUT… there’s one massive problem.

In my opinion, this budget golf manufacturer has made a serious mistake, and it could change everything about this club.

No one thinks they are getting a new genuine ping or Taylormade driver or zero torque putter for £40, people know what they are buying , I will say that I’ve bought a few putters that are copies, and I had the genuine spider zt which I sold for £300 and got a similar one for £70, putting just as well, so it begs the question why are they £450 and whose really ripping us off ?
    Also gaz, so I lost £150 on the zt within a yr , if you get these clubs and sell on or change you may lose a small amount or nothing .

  7. I don’t think those who buy a replica believe it’s the real thing. If it performs, then it’s the buyer wanting to fool those who peep into their bag and think “here’s a serious golfer who’s got piles of money”😂

  9. Years ago, I bought an “R7TP” driver off Ebay “from the TM Chinese factory” for a third of the price! Before I hit it, my son spotted it was a knock off, I emailed the seller and to save an Ebay case they refunded me part of the price and I then put it on Ebay “brand new but KNOCK OFF” in the description and it sold for more than a new one! Toddled off to Nevada Bob’s for a driver and box of balls! Crazy world!🤷
    Re clubs I’ve gone to 60g stiff in my new Callaway Ti fairways instead of the 75g+ I used to play in my Stealth pluses, small difference but surprising!

  12. Also noticed Temu offering a R7 lookalike Mini Driver. There's also some other Mini's available. They would make a great Review, and would be interesting to see if they go in your 'budget' bag.
