Tiger Woods’ inner circle are reportedly ‘concerned’ about his romance with Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
The golf icon made his relationship with Vanessa, Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law, public on Instagram last month, which sparked a reaction from Ivanka Trump and quashed rumours about their romance.
Woods posted a photo of the couple, announcing: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
Even the President himself weighed in on the relationship, revealing that Woods had called him about the romance with Vanessa and gave the couple his blessing.
Since going public, Woods and Vanessa have kept a relatively low profile, with Woods missing the TGL Finals’ kickoff due in part to his Achilles injury. He also recently teased fans with a fake Masters comeback announcement that turned out to be an April Fool’s joke.
As the Masters prepares to get underway without him, there are reported concerns among Woods’ friends over his high-profile relationship with Vanessa. “Tiger is in a very vulnerable state right now,” an insider told RadarOnline. “The last few years have been incredibly tough. And Vanessa’s a real dynamo. She lives a very fast-paced lifestyle and there are concerns he won’t be able to keep up with her.
“Tiger’s not some old man who just sits around moping all day, but he does have a fairly low-key life. And Vanessa’s known to be a real jet-setter. She’s not someone who’s going to stick around if she’s not finding things exciting. Everyone’s wondering how long it will be before she drops him like a hot rock.”
Vanessa is Donald Jr. ‘s ex-wife and they have five children together, including aspiring golfer Kai Trump. They divorced in 2018 and at that time issued a joint statement: “After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways.
“We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
