How he picked Henderson and not Gallagher is beyond me

The fact so many people don’t realize at all what Henderson did at Ajax with his leadership captaining the side and completely turning around a young side that was historically underachieving makes all this media pile on towards Henderson a joke to me. International football is much slower then top flight ball. Particularly in the qualifying stages against lower level opposition. Henderson is in the squad to be a leader, keep the squad in check, and maintain standards in training sessions. It’s genuinely a joke how often this has had to be explained over and over again over the past few days. Henderson is not there to be a starter. He’s there for training sessions as much as anything else and to keep the players in check. So many people really don’t understand roster building dynamics to a level that is shocking.

Henderson and MGW have two completely different characteristics. Tuchel has already explained why Henderson is in the squad, it is simple to understand.
We dont need to watch him at Ajax, weve see him play for England during the tournaments and he us out of his depth.
