EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Pro golfer Dylan Myer has announced his plans for Thunderbolt Pass.
Last month we told you about the new lease agreement for the golf course.
Myer says a name change and rebrand is in order for the property.
It will be called “The Farm”.
The golf course will be in a renovation closure from Monday March 10 through Saturday April 5.
Renovations made to the clubhouse will include new pro shop merchandise, new food and beverage menus, bathroom updates and enhanced customer service.
Renovations made on the course will include new tee boxes to lengthen the golf course, new angles to holes to open up the natural landscape of the course, and creating a firmer and faster green complex.
They’ll also add new water features that will allow the course to dry faster.
“The Farm is going to be a place where all levels and ages are welcome to play in a relaxing environment. Our goal is to deliver a country club experience but at affordable prices for the general public. We are excited to give back to the game of golf in the Evansville community by hosting and helping junior golf in the area grow again” says Dylan Meyer, owner of The Farm. “The focus of The Farm is to help develop the kids on and off the course by meeting the people of our great city. The game of golf and Evansville have given me everything in terms of support of my career so I felt that it is time for me to give back.”
Tee times will be available for booking, starting on March 30.
A new website and social media channels are being launched.
Golfers can call the shop to book tee time, starting March 31 at 812-426-2166.
