They need to take care of the issues on both lines first. That's why I wanted to see a good DT picked up before the trade deadline. Everyone kept saying take care of it during free agency. There just aren't that many free agent DT's. They also need to deal with the guard & center problems. Deal with the lines first, then worry about DB's & a RB.
The Lions have sucked for decades and are usually picking early. Let’s see how they do late in the rounds now.

Excuses are for losers and the Viking draft pick have been lousy. It’s easy to find the problem just find the guy who is making the picks and then fire his ass. Another thing is fire the Scouts and hire new ones. The Viking drafts have been lousy for years. The scouting department has to be incompetent. Fix the shit. It may not matter now because we are going to have a very dangerous man with the nuclear codes. A 4 Star General of the marine corp and a 4 star General of the Army has warned us all about him but people just say they are lying. If people knew how military officers go through leadership training and learn the importance of being the very best you can be by being sincere “no Bull Shit allowed”, no lying, no stretching the truth because that can get a lot of men killed and be willing to sacrifice yourself for the love of your country then they would know that these great men were not lying when they tried to warn the country of the dangers of the next president. I Know because I was an officer. God help us all.

Bad news. We have cap space but we have big holes to fill with free agents leaving. It will be hard to get the level of team we have this year next year. It is possible but KAM has to hit a grand slam.

Is Kwesi being led astray with his drafts? Who is giving him suggestions other than the coaches? Ryan Grigson? Mike Pettine? Do we need to investigate this more? Those two guys have less than stellar drafts when they were with other teams, are they giving the same bad advice to Kwesi?

The “trusting Kwesi” with our 1st round pick is out of control. Let’s look at his first round picks. 4 picks. Only one a bust (obviously Cine is bad) but the other 3 look to be very solid (Addison, Turner and JJ). Why are you guys freaking. Also, that stat about Viking drafts the past 10 years is almost all Spielman (8). Yes. 2022 was a bad draft but Kwesi didn’t have his staff yet.

This is a real simple answer, we still have $28.5 million of Cousin's salary on the books and we have no cap space. Thank you to the Cleveland Browns for giving an even worse contract to Watson so we don't look as dumb for what we gave Kirk.
So this FA class is filled with OG and CB so that's where I would spend our money other then Arron Jones. I am wondering if Cam Robinson would be interested in moving inside. It's his last real contract and OG get paid well now days. Then he gives us backup flexibility too.

We need to identify two DL in the draft and trade up ( use next years or other future picks) and get them.
Would love top trade up for a Walter Nolen but he is going to be to high. Nic Scourton, Derrick Harmon, T.J Sanders, and Jordan Burch could all be monster in our defense. Then get a late round guy like Alfred Collins who is dropping down big boards currently.
Also a late rnd RB in Raheim Sanders would fit nicely if we keep Jones. I would also love a late rnd or UDFA Dean Connors Rice RB But fixing the O-line makes finding a RB easier.

Draft pick are overated. All the Number 1 picks go to disfuctional teams and we just pick them up the good ones in free agency (Sam Darnold, AVG, Grenard, Cam).
What about the last 3 years
Out of the 2022 & 2023 Not counting 2024 The viking would be at 0.6%. Man Speilman really did suck.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Let Kwesi Cook!!!! If you include this year you would be at 2.2% and you know many of those will be playing soon. Bad Stat analogy to put on Kwesi in comparrison to Speilman who did the lions share of that stupidity.
The Vikings never go full Rams. They're going to waste yet another good start to the season, in a conference and league that looks ripe for the taking. Gotta maintain that dynasty of mediocrity.

The problem stating that a great pick from another could have been the player that could've turned the tide for the Vikings is this. Perhaps they are a stud from the draft because of the team that drafted them and the system they are in at the moment. Maybe if the Vikings had drafted said player perhaps he doesn't become the stud he currently is?? All depends on how that player meshes with the team and is able to adapt to the Vikings culture
