Imagine getting to the bowling alley only to realize you have the balls from the wrong sport and someone is golfing with bowling balls.
I have a flexible membership that allows me to play any course in the network with some away “points”.
Decided to play some winter golf with a friend at a heathland course that was beautiful condition mid winter mid rainstorm and ground might aswell have been mid summer. Beautiful. (Holme Hall in Lincolnshire do recommend)
Walking passed a bunker with not a soul in sight could see a couple of fairways either direction and there was a pristine ball just like this sat right in the middle. One little trail leading from the edge of the bunker to the ball where it had rolled. Someone knocked that £5 ball in then just went nah and walked on. Madness.
Its still in my bag. Can’t bring myself to play it, I’ll lose it in a pond for sure.
