The Ohio State football team lost an incredible SIX offensive tackles off its roster following the 2024 season. Josh Simmons, Donovan Jackson, and Josh Fryar are off to the NFL, and Zen Michalski, George Fitzpatrick, and Miles Walker all headed to the Transfer Portal.
That obviously left a massive hole on the Buckeyes’ depth chart, but a pair of Transfer Portal additions, as well as two talented returning young prospects, and a pair of true freshman have a chance to rebuild that three-deep this spring.

Ian Moore was reported to be squatting over 700 pounds as a true freshman. He will be hard to beat out and if he doesn’t start we can be assured that the starter will be a beast.
Ethan is for sure the LT! ( size, strength, experience)
I think he will be one of the Big Ten’s best by October
RT is going to be a fierce battle between Philip Daniels and Ian Moore ( winner will likely secure the job for two years if not three )
Carter Lowe probably is backup LT and will be slated to take over LT when Ethan becomes a NFL draft pick
