Wilson, Scheifele, Thomas, Kyrou should’ve been on this team over Marchand, Hagel, Bennett, and Cirelli. Harley should stay in the lineup. Binnington should not come back. Montembault should get a shot now. And if you’re building a team, you’d have the Tkachuk’s on it. USA played old time Canadian hockey – fights, hits, puck pressure and fighting for every inch of ice.
When will Team Canada management learn to ice the best talent for the team? Logan Thompson was not on the team only because of hard feelings between him and management. So we ice a useless goalie instead of the league second best. Thompson stats: 24 – 2 – 5 .921 sv% or Bennington 15 – 19 – 4 .897 sv%
Don't forget, the Americans didn't have Quinn Hughes. The Canadians have a bunch of individual stars and the U.S. has a team built for this series.
Canada came up short in goaltening 100 percent both goals we're week goals. Why didn't they add Mark Andre flurry to the team?He would have played much better than bigneton. The other weakness was a keep seeing their passes weren't getting through to their teammates. In order for them to have a good scoring chance, it would hit a stick a blade. A deflection just bad luck and and to say USA team outplay us no F in the way if bigneton would've stopped those two soft goals.We've been talking about overtime….. Advantage point canada
The NHL was never going to allow Hockey Canada to play a Montreal Canadian goalie in net in Montreal against an American team. Canada practically took a dive against the U.S.
