At the time this event took place, Earl Anthony was probably the least accomplished of the five finalists. Pretty remarkable group of bowlers for a stepladder.

Ritger, Weber, McGrath, Davis, and Anthony. That is an amazing group of bowlers. You can’t get much better than that.
