Cats fan. I see you guys got to experience the Matt Jones constant interruption “conversation.” That goofball doesn’t listen, he just asks questions and unloads his opinion after you’ve given a part of the answer he wanted.
Really liked watching you guys! Cal and Ellen are wonderful and compassionate people and they did a lot of good here in KY. I hope Cal is cheered because our teams for the first 10 years were great and they were fun to watch. Even though the last 4-5 years were frustrating, the overall body of work far outweighs the negative for me. Plus, everybody involved came to the right conclusion that it was time to move on. So, cheer and think of all the guys whose life he affected and their families, it’ll help!

Not sure if Ark has the dudes to beat UK. That being said, i expect career days from Wagner, Thierro, and Ivisic.. maybe even Richmond and Knox.
He's right it is Cal vs. Kentucky, Arkansas just caught up in the crossfire. If Cal had taken for example the Missouri or South Carolina job I don't think the hype and drama around this game would be much different than it is right now. Arkansas/Kentucky definitely have a bit more of a rivalry than some other teams but the whole "boo or cheer" thing would still be happening regardless. Go Cayts
When Matt seems giddy talking about calipari failing or his faults it kinda gets to be Matt’s personal problem with cal not ours. I’m a huge Kentucky fan and I’m glad we have pope now. It’s sad to see cal looking like an old race horse that thinks he still has it but is living a dream. I appreciate what cal did for us hope he does ok but just not against us Go Cats!

Hate Arkansas (and all of the ACC but UK) Love UK, weird relationship with Cal, die hard fan of BBN and everything about it. I love KSR and MJ and all of those guys a lot!! And this doesn’t change anything for me but the only thing I’ve disagreed with so far is MJs comment on “KY fans are going to cheer because we feel bad for Ark because they aren’t that good” Lost me there dude. To me that screams I really want him to get booed out that arena but I don’t wanna say that out load and I’m worried now that he’s going to get half to more cheers than boos as opposed to before where I thought he was going to get booed out the arena.
No one in the ACC active or HoF knows how this is going to go nor has any previous experiences like it because no one’s had a situation exactly like this whole situation from start at UK to finish at UK happen to them. On a coach player or fans side.
As a KY fan who grew up going to all of the CatsCamps over the summer and getting to play and meet with so many prolific players over the years that side of this situation for everyone is where the soft part is. Then you think about all of the times he’s kinda put himself or his personal interest over the programs best or personal interests and this wake up one random day after the year was shortly over to a video of Cal wearing a blue shirt for the last time and that creates a little soft spot too.
But at the end of the day I am program over Cal. So I say all of this to say I am personally stuck on which way to lean, if I should think the boo’ers are bad people and aren’t classy, or determining just how much i actually do want to boo
And I think that’s it. As long as you are being a real adult human about your individual experience of this situation and give a fair answer, why not. Should he celebrated yes absolutely but maybe it’s true that that’s not right now.
BBN in these comments tho, I came here to stick up for MJ a little but also stick up for the side of BBN telling everyone to cheer. And to InsideArk and the Ark fans, I wish the best to yall and honestly I hope this game is the most competitive one that we’ve had this whole year. Good luck with the Salesmen, I hope him and his Misses does yall super well over these next up and coming years.
Crazy things is both parties agree they should be better. That means cal can’t coach. Never could. Always depends on his players to make him look good. Cal needs to learn how to teach basketball. Not just recruit.
