I don’t know who everyone is watching outside of the dedicated lions broadcast and fan podcast, but these main stream commentators and “experts” for some reason have a hard on for the commanders and are only selling doubt about Detroit.
Every break down I’ve watched they’re all praising how the commanders are and come off as if Detroit has no shot.
The only time the masses will be on board with a team outside of their own is creating an underdog story. They all want a team that squeaks into the playoffs and takes it all.

If you set aside the Lions' last game against Minnesota and look at their 5 previous games. The Lion’s defense is terrible. They gave up 559 yards and 48 points against Buffalo. They gave up 475 yards and 34 points and against the 49ers. They gave up 382 yards against the Bears. The average QB passer rating against the Lions defense of those five games is 111.12. I think Jayden Daniels is going to have a huge game against the Lions.

I set aside the Lions’ last game against the Vikings because the Rams did the same thing to the Vikings a week after. It wasn't the strength of the Lion's defense, rather the weakness of Vikings QB, Sam Darnold.

I think it will be key for the Lions to jump out to a 10-14 pt lead in the first half. The Commanders have won their last five games right at the end. If they're too far behind when the clock winds down to 4 or 5 minutes I think they will lose their will.
