Today we will attempt to answer one of the more controversial questions in the wood bat industry…
Do you really need to be paying $200 for a wood bat?

  1. Why do you throw the bats like that? It makes no sense.
Also why wear leggings and shorts? Looks weird IMO.
The painted ones may have a really ugly grain or defects in the wood.

  2. Lol im sure i sound like a bunch of people, but I think i used a version of the LS Genuine in HS. Mine was painted black but still easy to see the wood grains. It was ash and always felt great to hit with. Didnt sting, ball seemed to fly off it, big sweet spot. Now this was like 10 years ago now so the bats use to be about $25 but damn that bat felt great and out lasted almost all of my friends wood bats despite being used twice as often cause I did not care about losing some power. I just hit better with it so id pull it out when i wanted. Also BBCOR is basically the same thing. Also they were paying $150 for their lumber and mine was $25 at any dicks sporting goods.

  3. I was playing on 13-14 when the Omaha came out. EVERY team had one. Literally every single team we played that year, you saw at least 1 or 2 guys with the Omaha and they were usually the guys who could send it who had them. I was born in 90 and started in 94 on T-ball 😂 seeing these bats brings back so many memories. I saw most of the older bats in practice or in games. The blue Eastons were legendary bats in the 90s. My grandfather was my little league coach my first couple of years and he had coached since the 70s, so he had a ton of old bats collected by the time I came around.

  4. “Also not a wood bat”. You said it all. Trees are trees. Save your money and just get Olympia sports bats

  5. Its the same thing as most willow cricket bats you always look for the straightness of the grain and even then it depends on how quickly the wood is dried if it lasts at all. Ive never played baseball being English but love watching baseball since finding Trevor Bauer's channel and how they did him dirty.

  6. He 4ra IPL lottery is wild! tried my luck today, and it was such a thrill. hope to win big! these events are making the IPL season unforgettable.
