What’s the latest on the Falcon?
Are you getting a demo one?
The subscription models of these higher-end LMs are costly if you plan to use them for more than five years. They should be available for purchase and use with third-party software. Given the rep's constant talk about driving costs down, this would make them a much better value proposition.
$500 US which is over $700 CND for a yearly subscription on a $5000 dollar unit is nuts. Who know what will happen in a year or 2. Just crazy i tell you.
Sorry if I didn’t hear it but will original gc3 be capable of pairing with rangefinder for on course information? Thanks
I feel like the BLP Lpi is a step backwards taking out the screen and battery but pricing it at same cost to current BLP with ball and club data. I was also hoping subscriptions would lower with the increase in competition. I have been looking at BLP and GC3 for some time while building my simulator and was hoping for more good news from them. Adding a range finder does not interest me for sim set up. Sell it cheaper without the range finder please.
Foresight needs to pick up the pace on improving and adding additional features to FSX Play based on what I just saw Trackman is rolling out…
Foresight has lost their way. I want the innovative company from 15 years ago. Not this squeeze-every-penny-out-of-you corporation.
They said global right ? So no more geo lock?
Golf is expensive enough… really disappointed these companies missed the chance to help the consumer instead of increasing costs for reworked hardware and subscriptions. For example on the LPI, they removed the screen and battery to force indoor play with the justification it is for simulator use only. Knowing that we only need ball data for simulation play, I wished they provided a cheaper alternative to their previous ball only unit. This would in turn allow them to get close to breaking the $1,500 hardware price point (Old unit was $2K less screen and battery of maybe $500 worth or parts?). That would have sent shockwaves through the industry and would really step up the competition.
It’s insanely annoying that you’re spending thousands on a launch monitor and they’re forcing you to pay $500 a year just to be able to use it with any golf sim software. Like whatever, I get that foresight needs to charge for their software, my issue is with them locking the device to 3rd parties without their sub. There needs to at least be like a $200 option for those who don’t want to use their software but want to play gspro.
Amazing launch monitors, but the subscription is stupid! They need to get with the rest of the companies, $200-250 a year, $500 is just insane! Another great video man! Would totally have one of these if I did t have to pay $750 a year for gspro, no thanks!
"the purpose is so that we can reach globally a little more" – can you please ask Foresight why the LPi will NOT available in Hong Kong
you are so lucky in the US…. US$7,000 for the GC3, in Hong Kong it costs around US$8,500
$500 a year to use it or an extra $3200 outright just to actually own the device is borderline scalping. I hope golfers don’t fold and competition ruins these subscription for life models companies are coming out with, looking at you too Rapsodo.
