Today, Ian and Mike are at PING Canada HQ to get a first look into the new 2025 Driver line.

The Ping G440 driver lineup (G440 Max, G440 SFT, G440 LST) across the board benefits from a new internal structure that saves weight. Unlike in the past when all that weight was pushed to the perimeter for the highest possible stability on off-center hits, the new idea is about lowering the centre of gravity to help shots launch with less spin for more potential distance.

As a result, the company calls this bunch the drivers with the lowest CGs in Ping history.

  1. Am curious, if some one plays a fade. For instance they aren’t worried about the left side of the course. As well as they are average to fast swing speed player. Could they benefit from an LST model considering their spin loft might be in a higher window fading the ball. This would obviously only make sense if the spin was higher than optimal. If they went with LST model could they potentially gain speed and distance considering an owner spin loft window.

  2. The only club review worth watching, none of the YouTube influencer nonsense these 2 guys are the best in the business 👌

  3. Ian – can you test all three with the same shaft. The SFT test might be skewed based on using the Project X red higher launch and spin shaft. I have a similar club head speed and find the 9 degree as a super interesting potential option. Thanks for all that you and Mikey do for us. Love the new channel also.

  4. I love the LS range in any driver I’ve hit. I currently hit Cobra Darkspeed and potentially I could have a further hitting setup, but for me the dispersion is low and it’s very predictable. Ping 440 looks lovely though

  5. The OG's on TXG changed the game some of the most entertaining and informative videos ever. Kudos to Mikey for picking up the gauntlet with Ian and doing a great job. So sad to see the boys leaving learned so much my game as a senior has improved so much due to all the fitting tips.
    Cheers from Norcal

  6. Seeing Ian and Mikey always makes me sad nowadays… Gonna miss the mix of banter and fantastic content… Matty leaving was tough, but you guys did absolutely fantastic together. Used to be one of (if not THE) best review channels out there

  7. I get making golf for everyone but they are closing the skill gap with these newer clubs. Thankfully they can only do so much with iron accuracy 😂

  8. Thanks for all the info and effort. My favorite golf channel. Don;'t forget to turn the lights on your way out. Take care.

  9. Club Champion ruined my favorite golf channel on YouTube. This channel was always TXG even after the brand takeover. I’ll always cherish the years of Covid and watching too many TXG videos. Time to unsubscribe and find another channel.
