Great points. Thanks Peter. 👍
Wow! What a location to practice your swing! Great lesson! ☀️
I think I know who Pete is signing with 🤭
If there is anyone on YouTube that I will listen to regarding driver technique it’s Mr Finch.
Love the nostalgic finchy coaching content! Also loving the upgraded backdrop. Tiny upgrade from trafford golf center 😂
Great advice as always. A pro once told me to do the swish drill (but with the driver head on) before teeing off at a course with no range. Twenty swings trying to get that swish higher pitched and more to the left (as a right hander) would have me ready for my first swing. Years later I have to say he was right and the practice made me longer off the tee too.
When you go on holiday and some bloke is always in the way of the view!.
so pretty at @04:00 minutes, nice swing
Great video. Padraig Harrington talks about decelerating “putting the breaks on” at the point of impact to produce more club head speed. He calls it the Tommy Fleetwood drill; swing fast, stop hard. Is that good advice or just confusing for us mid handicappers?
This video is perfectly timed, my driver is letting me down and this is pinpointing the areas I need to look into. Thank you
Enjoying Pezula in Knysna Peter?
Taylormade driver in the graphic. Clue to who he’s signing with?
The problem with the “step drill” is:
Your head moved toward the target as much as your lead foot! 😳
Moving one’s head toward the target during the downswing is my biggest swing flaw with the driver (… like many others) 🙄

Good stuff, Peter
A great summary of how to hit driver 👍🏻
Great tips! Although, I do feel like the "Step" in the step drill should be done earlier (in the backswing, between club parallel & at the top). It's how it's done in swing speed drills but is also better for sequencing.
Great video and teaching. I can’t wait to try the step drill. I appreciate that unlike a lot of other traditional swing coaches you say it’s okay to lift the front heal and to bend the lead arm a bit.
Good stuff! yes had a recent lesson and used most of the drills involved and they really do help with driving accuracy and distance. I'll incorporate the step move and practice the whoosh drill too. I'm averaging about 240-250 yards on drives and would like to get that up to 270-280 distance 👍Also love your location!
Great content as always. Gives lots of drills for improvement.👍
Sitting here when it’s minus 3 outside makes me jealous AF of your location 😂
Another banger 😎
This was fantastic! I liked how you went a little more in depth with your key points to drive home understanding to your viewers. Well done!
Great video, your swing quest has helped me improve my game a lot this off season, if there’s anyone’s swing I can have it’s definitely yours, the tempo, the power is phenomenal
There may be a future for you in coaching if this whole YouTube thing doesn't work out. Enjoy all your content Mr Finch and team
Where the heck is this course? That is an absolutely beautiful view!
Love the video. As soon As it stops raining I'm out in the garden practicing all of that. Oh a Happy new year to you, and your team
