After scoring an incredible 35-under at The Sentry last week, Hideki Matsuyama is back in action this week at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Having won the tournament in 2022, the Japanese superstar will be confident of carding consecutive wins. However, he will have to contend with five other previous winners of the event in the field this week. American Ryder Cup team captain Keegan Bradley will be teeing it up as the second-highest-ranked player in the field after a strong 2024 saw him drive to victory at the BMW Championship in August. Tom Kim will make his 2025 debut this week, and the South Korean had a good end to 2024 with a second-place finish at the Hero World Challenge. Other names to keep an eye on include Scotland’s Robert McIntyre, Sahith Theegala and Canadian Corey Conners.

Brice Garnett, winner of the Puerto Rico open last year is yet again having a strong tournament showing in an island course setting. Guy knows how to deal with the wind better than almost anyone. Really pulling for him.
let's go hirata!!
Tom Kim swing is almost similar to Xander’s
Pga and sponsors, you must make something to put higher demands on players to perform better. It's just boring to see how 80% of the field just gives up after the cut. It's like they are satisfied with the money, and really don't put in the efforts they should put in this level. I've worked with golf on the pga, and with other sports and I heard and talked with many players and many of them just don't care so much, practice not that much and are satisfied with the money . I quit working with golf because of the things I got knowledge of ..
One of the few jobs in the world where you get applauded after each task. As a plumber I wonder what it would be like to be applauded after clearing a blockage😂😂
Should’ve added Hideki’s driver throw at the fan
Should have added Hideki's driver throws at the fan.
American courses seriously are the most boring. Completely flat, Completely straight amd Completely boring. Only 1 good course in America is wolf creek. Completely challenging like Scottish links but also the temperatures of somewhere good.
