Where do you position the ball in your stance when putting?

Here I have demonstrated what COULD be linked to better putting
.
It only looks like very minimal change in this but it likely will lead to very different outcomes
.
Just a few inches is enough of a difference to be striking the ball on the way down in your stroke compared to hitting up on the ball
.
The latter being the much better option for a much more consistent roll making it easier to control pace
.
A quick search of all the best players and putters of the ball in the world and you will see that they all have the ball placed 3/4 of the way up in their stance usually just under their left eye

Not only does putting with the ball further forward help to hit more up, but it also helps you to see the line easier and gives you more time to rotate the toe through impact as well if you like to be on an arc
