got to give it a try! im fighting slice with that "drawadvice" you showed here = closed face and right leg back. it works somehow, i overdraw it to the semiruff often, but it goes miles. Anyway, got to give this a try!!

knowing when & how to play a shot is a “golf” these are the key skills to avoid the trouble down the right side!
I used to do this playing a big fade and closing off the face. It still had the occasional slice so I changed my set up for a draw and find way more fairways.
Why not aim over the water if you are playing a draw shot? Or is that too much margin for error if you were to hit it dead straight ?
Good points! Never underestimate that alignment is key to ensure hitting away from trouble. Another strategy is not using driver if that helps avoiding deep fairway trouble as well.

I have a terrible slice that I just can’t seem to shake. I started playing a few months ago, and I feel like I’ve progressed in every aspect except my driver. I want so bad to be able to just hit a fade. If my worst shot was a simple fade I’d be thrilled. I had my first driver lesson the other day and apparently I haven’t been “rolling my hands” over and squaring up the club face. I’m trying so hard to fix this stupid slice. I feel like I need to over exaggerate the feeling of closing my club face I guess? I feel like a lost cause when it comes to hitting driver. Makes me feel like an idiot tbh. I don’t wanna be the guy that has to play a slice. I just wish I could get this one element of my game down.
