I review the SNELL PRIME 3.0 in this video. This is the ball for the masses as it relates to club speed. If you hit your 7 iron 125-175 Snell says this is the ball for you! I test this ball on course and ultimately on the simulator. I hope you enjoy the review!

  1. Look forward to all three reviews. This one seemed good. I'm a sucker for really soft feeling ball and saw some info on these but I'm afraid the 2.0 wouldn't match my game too well but I'd like to hit it (avg carry w/ my 7 is 147). Love the Q Star Tour

  2. would love to see the review on the 2.0. I hit the ball around your length usually 240 ish with driver and 140 ish with 7i so a little longer than Snell indicates but I feel like the 2.0 could be a sneaky good value ball for those of us shorter hitters than have a lower handicap.

  3. forgot to add in my other comment that yes, would love to see your numbers with all 3. Also would like to know which one you feel had the highest flight

  4. I’m very interested in snell but the OnCore still are my ball. I’m trying the Srixon zstar next week

  5. They're really hiding the country of origin, so I'll just assume they're Chinese. No f'ing thanks.

  6. Great stuff MSH. Hoping you can include how the balls you review putt. I have played a lot of golf balls over the years that perform well off the tee and approach but are not so good when I putt them…⛳🏌

  7. I've played Snell balls in the past and liked them. They got harder to buy the last few years with Snell having problems getting manufacturing contracts and having quality issues with the last generation. Interested in your results with the 3.0 and the comparison with the 2.0. One of those would probably be the best match for my swing.

  8. Looking forward to the 3 ball comparison. The couple times I've played the Snell, I also found it to have some action. Nice ball. And look at you, going all Kevin Na, and walking in that birdie 😅

  9. Hardly a review without adding the Data…. Maybe have a separate one that shows all 3 together.

  10. I enjoy your reviews of golf balls. I’d really like you to review the Honma D1 golf ball. If you need a dozen, I’ll send them to you. Thanks.

  11. Thanks for this review. I’ve used snell for a while. He was selling his previous ball, due to a cover issue, for around 15 a dozen, just to get rid of them. What a deal! I bought a bunch, and I’ve honestly not seen any problems with the cover.
I’m interested in trying the 2.0:due to my slow swing speed.

  12. You might be a short hitter but my buddy who is 53 is shorter! He can’t hit his 7 hybrid 140 but always tries! We can’t get him to take more club!

  13. @MSH, love the content as usual bro. I go ultra soft often so my short game is as perfectly aimed as possible with the backspin I produce. Can I ask you to explain a huge mystery for me in a future video? He’s the thing.. everything up to a 7 Iron in length goes smoothly and I can get distance and perfect club contact. As soon as I go to 5 Iron and longer ( hybrid 4-3 etc) I lose my swing, can’t feel the clubhead , screw up my grip). I can’t figure out where the wires in my head start shortcircuiting. Any tips are welcome.

  14. Very very glad they sent you these to review! I think you are the first official review on youtube!

  15. Thanks for the video! My Prime3.0 just came in. We’ll see how they play. 🤙🏽🤙🏽

  16. Haven’t watched this video yet but I can say that I love Snell golf balls! In fact I’m out right now. 3.0 is my choice. I think there’s a free freight offer right now.

  17. I have not tried the balls you have reveiwed in this video, but i did try the MTB version. To be honest i found them very similar to Cut Blue and Seed. They were all ok but i am a player that wants spin and control. Sadly none of them gave me what i wanted. They reminded me of Prov1x. But all scuffed up pretty easily. However from purely from a price point they were very good. I used to play TM Tp5 but now play Callaway Chrome Tour because they offer all i want but of course they cost in the uk where i reside around £50. Something they also do is hold straighter in the wind. I enjoyed the review and look forward to more
