* Rashad Evans after UFC 128, where former friend Jon Jones won Rashad’s old title
* The infamous Undertaker interview seconds after Brock Lesnar’s UFC title defeat
* Pro wrestling royalty including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg Jim Ross, and Paul Heyman

  1. Love it Ariel thanks for this kind of episode. You are an inspiration for new aspiring journalists ❤

  2. I've been watching ariel since those nick Diaz interviews. what a ride its been just seeing these clips gets me fired up lol

  3. Need to have the first ever Mike Perry interview at some point, was a classic, our first ever taste of Mike Perry as a character. The bit where Ariel had to hold back the laughter as Mike explained why he chose platinum as a nickname and the virtues of platinum as a material 🤣

  4. Hopefully you do this again in the near future. It was great content without any real time interviews.

    Stay killing it 💯

  5. Helwani get bullied by the fighters even before it was cool so people like Ninadrama can flash their tits and become relevant in the sport lol

  6. Loved this format and it was great to hear your perspective on these legendary interviews.

Thanks for all the great content over the years

  7. Absolutely beautiful. As an old MMA fan, who's first foray into the sport was watching any PRIDE event I could get my greasy little mits on, in the days before internet was still from a dial up modem, when NON of my mates were interested in it (they still aren't 🤣) I really cherish these harking back to the past moments, so a full episode is just bliss! Thanks for all you've done over the years Ariel, I don't agree with everything you spout but I do think you're about as genuine as they come, which is hard to find in this day n age. Big props to Ric, GC and all the rest in the back also!

  8. Damn, I miss these interviews. It was the highlight of the fight week for me as a fan, to watch, yeah probably tens of these types of interviews. It really got me behind some of these guys, they were raw back then. These days every interview you see, feels like social media expert coached them. Or if not, than the most interesting ones are flat earthers 😀 the man and the mic is the best format, I wish it could be brought back. Karyn Bryant was also great with these interviews. Brought a whole different perspective… before the metoo stuff 😀 people were wild those days.

  9. 25:09 The Schmo has a lot of nerve saying Ariel's been handed everything. The boy spent years talking negatively about Ariel, trying everything he could to stick his nose as far up Dana's butt as humanely possible. Look at the Schmo now. You just know he's bitter he's only got some small rinky dink radio show on ESPN while Nina Drama who's still relatively new has achieved so much more than him. Should've let daddy Dana bang Big Melons Yee. He'd be in Brett's shoes if he did.

  10. This was brilliant. Like a mini biography. Ariel, you gotta do more of this. Everyone loves hearing context to go with the interviews.

  11. Thanks for all the positive feedback! We will do more of these, no doubt.

Curious: which interviews would you like featured in future episodes?

  12. Please make this a regular segment! I watched all these interviews the day they happened. It was great hearing your thoughts all these years later

  13. Loved this and I hope you do more! It's great sitting back and listening to the Ariel tales of old.
