This video made me reevaluate my priorities. More laughter, more cats🍒
here
Love the sweater! And instruction!
AWESOME Lesson Thanks so much
Hmm, this lesson confuses me. You are getting 20% air, 80% rollout with a PW, while I would get 80% air, 20% rollout with the same club. I usually pitch with an 8 iron, shooting for 50:50.
good stuff thanks
I’m working on 50:50 for everything with a SW , not many amateurs are gonna be able to flop a wedge with enough height or spin to stop it 80:20 , maybe on the odd occasion like a blind squirrel finding a nut !
Hilarious your not demonstrating 20 80 percent those were about 40 60.
Great video. Thanks so much it’s so clear and correct 😊
Enjoyed but the last one looked 50/50. 😊
Its spelt 'gauge'
Jeez I hate Malbons clothes!
Total nonsense, uphill downhill with the grain against the grain
This was great advice. Dr Gus Greenfield approved! Now if I could just make proper contact.
I get it. Thanks!
What if the greens are wet and slow?
You can't teach feel, so important you get out on the course when it's quiet (or if you've got a good short game area) and hit 2/3 balls from the same place to see what works and hit different shots/clubs
Alex-I love the simplicity of the 20/80 method, but I am confused by the club selection. I have been told that GW, PW, 9 and 8 will roll 1, 2, 3 and 4 times the flight respectively. This would make me pull 8 iron, but you clearly demonstrated wedges effectively. Can you please explain?
Her comment about going into the bunker is ridiculous. A miss hit would put the ball in the bunker not depth of shot. Also, factor wind, grain, slope, dry or wet green, grass with or against ball at address, is pin on a concave or convex area of green. This is strange advice 😅
Again 5 GOATs
Hello, I wish to start investing, but I don't know where to begin. Is there any advice or contact for help
By far the best wedge selection video-helps with the decision making around the green. Now just need to practice. Thanks
The diagram looks wrong ! The red line is about one half the length of the blue line, when it should be a quarter.
What a load of malarkey… I get the meaning, but NO NO NO!!!!!
You cannot have 20% air and 8-% rollout with every chip. It just will not work.
My goal was to get the ball on the green and rolling, because I knew what it was going to do then. It was not always 20% air/80% roll…
If I am chipping with an 8-iron, the ball is going to roll much more than with a pitching wedge. It is just the nature of the loft of the club.
His thought of tossing the ball underhand at the beginning is how I think of chip shots. Where do I want the ball to land? How much roll after it lands? What obstacles do I need to avoid?
Can you explained the difference between the 54,56,60 degree club shot I am trying to use a 56 for shots between 40-70 yards
If you look at the flag, you pitch to the flag. My issue is not looking at the flag. Very hard for me not to look at it
You also talk about the rule of 12 around the green. I started using and have become a pretty good chipper. So which is better 12 or 80/20?
