  1. Marv is right. If the owners are making the news, it is a bad sign for the franchise.
Obviously, there are some families that have owned teams since the turn of the last century where the owners names are known.

  2. Woody Johnson is a billionaire who has never had to work a day in his life. He's never made a decision at Johnson & Johnson, doctors and researchers use science to decide what products are produced. He was just born rich.

  3. Woody Johnson was our man in London (i.e. Ambassador of the U.S. to The Court of St. James (the United Kingdom)) — not to Ireland. The late Dan Rooney was our man in Dublin (i.e. U.S. Ambassador to Ireland).

  4. Now I’m 100% convinced that impulsive woody fired Saleh over that patch he wore in that UK game.

Good luck to the jets ever finding another decent head coach ever again.

  5. Every time I think about my favorite team's ownership, two things come to mind. 1. I feel VERY bad about what happened to Kim Pegula and 2. I thank god that we have Terry Pegula as our owner. It really does start at the top! And apropos of "Ambassador" Johnson… a distant third thing comes to mind. That being that when Ralph Wilson died, Donald Trump was one of the people vying to purchase my beloved Bills. We sure dodged a bullet there!

  6. Funny thing is, listening to Madden for ratings is the smartest thing Woody has done. You smug D bags laugh, but PFF is the only org that ranks players better than Madden. Half the GMs in this league are worse at their jobs than the thousands of people playing Fantasy Football. Ill tell you, that we in Denver think Jeudy is an 83 at BEST. Ohh Jeudy got 62 yards a game, and 250 of it was in one game. JJ is terrible, and I would trust Madden over the average Smug Boomers evaluations.

  7. Same ‘owner Interference’ issue with the Giants. Big decisions start & end with Mara. Mara screws the team up by making business decisions instead of good football decisions

  8. Woody is a dysfunctional billionaire…who has run this team into the ground over and over since he became the owner he has become the worst owner in professional sports he should sell this team its a toy he has that he has no idea how to play with it at all

  9. These are the types of people just voted in to run the country. The Jets are a microcosm of what’s going on. Get used to the madness because the stupid people have finally pushed over the apple cart.

  10. If people are old enough to remember (ugh, I am) there was a time people thought the same about the Rooney family, then they hired Chuck Noll, and everything changed!
