I agree. I've tried just every grip I could get my greasy little fingers on, including the premium Iomics, and Golf Pride CP2 Wrap Jumbo is head and shoulders above the rest in terms of feel so it's in the bag. Durability is great so far after a few seasons and maybe a hundred rounds. If there was a softer and tackier Z Grip, I would try it.
I’ve had the iomic on an eBay set for at least 5 years and I haven’t changed them because I enjoy them so much, they just wear so little. I don’t even know how many years were on them before I got them.
