It’s one of golfs great achievements… the single figure handicap!

Breaking 100,
Breaking 90,
First round with no doubles,
First par,
First birdie…..
All notable achievements, but single figures just sounds so good and so few golfers ever achieve this handicap!

im going to show you today one way that
can really increase your chances of
getting down to that elusive single
figure handicap and it’s for anyone
anyone can do it you really can don’t
forget hit that link below to get on the
waiting list for lessons with myself
here at whittlebury Park Golf Club click on

single figure to a lot of you golfers
out there it seems so elusive that means
round 18 holes around a golf we have to
have nine is and nine pars that’s a
simplistic version and if you can’t make

nine Pars in round a golf you are going
to struggle to get down to that single
figure level but for me one of the best
goals you can achieve is by making sure
you don’t hit any disaster shots and
0:47
that’s what really ramps up your score
0:49
so most of you hopefully watching this I
0:51
can imagine you’ve made a fair few pars
0:53
during your rounds even the odd few
0:54
birdies here and there you might even be
0:56
averaging one or two birdies around and
0:58
averaging four five six Pass Plus per
1:01
round of golf good for you but you’re
1:03
still not off that single digit handicap
1:06
and what is the reason it’s because
1:08
you’re throwing in some big numbers your
1:10
six your sevens your eights your nines
1:12
per whole but why is that happening it’s
1:16
because you’re not keeping the ball in
1:18
play you have to keep that ball in play
1:21
it’s when that golf ball goes out of
1:23
bounds trees water that’s when the
1:25
scores add up that’s when you can’t
1:27
recover and that’s when those scores add
1:29
up double bogy triple bogy quad
1:31
everything and above they look like a
1:33
cricket score at the end of your round
1:35
of golf and it’s so frustrating because
1:37
you mix all those lovely birdies and
1:39
Pars in with some absolute horror bag
1:41
holes so this is a great way of making
1:44
sure that you get rid of those horror
1:46
bag holes the best way of doing it is by
1:49
keeping as I say the ball in play but
1:51
how do we keep the ball in play we have
1:54
to make sure that your Club face is very
1:58
square at impact what do we mean by
2:01
square Club face need to be pointing at
2:03
your target at impact so it doesn’t
2:06
matter where we are to begin with has a
2:08
slight influence don’t get me wrong but
2:10
it doesn’t have a massive influence it
2:12
matters where your Club face is at
2:14
impact that’s by far and away the most
2:16
important thing now I’m going to be
2:19
really controversial here because one of
2:20
the big influences that a lot of people
2:22
read about is the grip has a huge
2:25
influence on where that club face is now
2:28
yes that is absolutely spot
2:30
but I’m going to want you to keep your
2:32
grip that you’ve got at the moment
2:34
whether it’s good whether it’s bad
2:35
whether it’s strong whether it’s weak
2:37
whatever it might be okay because I’ve
